We stayed at the Cala Marina for three nights last week and found it to be clean, friendly, good value and ideally loated in a lovely unassuming costal town. It was an excellent base for visits to Zingaro, Segesta and Selinunte. The staff were all very helpful and very pleasant and all spoke excellent English. The front balcony rooms are well worth the small amount of extra money. The breakfast is typical Sicilian hotel fare and parking is available in the garage below the hotel (which has a very steep ramp - beware if you've hired a 1.2L Fiat Punto!).
There are several restaurants nearby along the waterfront, and the town's main street is a short walk.

Room Tip: Try to get one of the balcony rooms overlooking the seafront.

We have just returned from an excellent holiday in Sicily where we stayed in the Cala Marina hotel for 9 nights. This was a very clean hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good and certainly very filling - it set you up for the rest of the day! When going back to the hotel you do, however, have to be careful not to try to get to it by road between 8pm and 2am on Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights as there is no access during these times. I have to say that this was no issue for us as we were always back by then anyway ready to go out for a meal in the town. Our holiday here was so good that we are already planning a trip for next year which, I think, speaks for itself!

Beautiful small hotel, well managed and with friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms, good breakfast. Nothing to complain about. Most impressing for me was the location, directly at the seaside at the small port of the village, with view on the sea.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms with direct sea view.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days in March. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were all very friendly and spoke really good English. Very clean with fruit provided on arrival. Breakfast was very good for continental.

Easy to walk along the marina for food or into the town to the restaurants.

Room Tip: Recommend a room with a view over the bay but if out of season, one on the side better as get the su...

This is a nice hotel. We booked it because the price was very reasonable & they arranged transfers to Palermo airport from the hotel.

Positive: Staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. They could not do enough to help us & there was always someone available at the front desk. The location is fantastic, right on the marina with a little terrace opposite the hotel. We were in room 206 which had a side view of the beautiful marina. The room was spotless. They had an agreement with some restaurants on the marina which gave a discount / special menu - this was great and we used it. Breakfast was fine, not the best we had, but they were very generous with tea / coffee.

Negatiive: The rooms are small. We were travelling with our little boy and we had a travel cot in the room, which really made the space very small. Also, we weren't mad on the pink bedrooms (trivial issue), we saw two rooms that were both the same colour pink. I think the rooms would seem more spacious if they were a brighter colour. The shower was ok but seemed old. The room only had 2 small sachets of shampoo, which ran out after I showered leaving my husband with nothing!

I would recommend this hotel, not luxurious but good for the price & location.

Tip: La Cambusa (hope I spelled it correctly) restaurant on the marina is really good! :-)

Room Tip: If you're willing to pay more, the front facing rooms would have a lovely view of the marina.

We stayed at the Cala Marina for two nights. Our experience is 10 out of 10 for everything. The staff are really friendly and helpful, it's a long time since I have had my cases carried to my room. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The location is perfect, situated on the bay front with several restaurants serving a wide variety of food, including freshly caught fish landed yards away from the restaurants. Just a short walk into the main town you can find more bars and places to eat. This is a great location to tour the western side of Sicily and return in the evening to chill and relax.
Chris and Ann.

Room Tip: Front room with balcony and sea view.

We choose this Hotel Cala Marina for its location . We like everything here . Very friendly staffs always ready to help you anything you need . Breakfast is very good with enough varieties. Very centrally located all the sightseeing places are close by. We found this place very relaxing and we highly recommend this hotel if any one going to visit around.

Room Tip: Choose the room facing the seaside.
