“Breathtaking”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Views, water, sea air. It doesn't get any better than this. It's beautiful and peaceful. A great place for some light hiking if you have the time. The beaches are extraordinary. I recommend this to every nature lover out there.
Make sure to pack your own water and snacks - nothing available in the park.

“A little piece of paradise”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

We entered the park from the southern part, near to Castellammare. At the entry you do receive a detailled map showing all the different trails and facilities in the park. The trails are very well maintained and signposted, but anyhow walking shoes are recommended and make walking easier.

The surrounding nature and the stunning views over the cliffs are a wonderful experience, accompanied by the corresponding mediterranean flavour. Along the coastal path you can step down to some coves and creeks for a short dive or a longer stay on the beach.

Just the right place to spend a day!

“Nature reserve/park”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Zingaro is a very popular park/nature reserve, nearly everyone visiting Scopello is also going to Zingaro, no roads, (after the car park) 3 euros charge, three different routes/paths can be chosen and lead to small exhibits and small coves and beaches to swim or sun bathe, there are no houses or people living here, it is a unique place, quite steep in places, it is basically the side of a mountain or very big hill with paths.Great views of the sea and the coastline visible most days.

“Prepare for a hike! It's worth it....”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

This is a breathtaking area of a rocky peninsula with little coves for stops and swims. In crystal clear water. You need good footwear as the paths are stony and often climb steeply. Water and sun protection too. You reach the first bay in 20 minutes and its a relatively good size. Of the next two bays (another 30 to 40 minutes walk), Berretta was rather compact with Disa being a good bit bigger.

Stunning countryside and worth the effort. We were their mid week and far from on our own.

“Excellent selection of walks”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

We enjoyed a walk partway along to coastal track heading from the Scopello end towards San Vito lo Capo. It's a fairly easy walk through undulating countryside with beautiful views down to the sea. There are tracks heading off in a number of directions, all of which a clearly signed and advise how long they take. It started to thunder and rain so we decided to curtail our walk and head back to the car!

Tip - carry water with you.
