As we found our old favorite restaurant closed this year (Berimbau) we gave Lungoni a try and made a very pleasant discovery.
From the outside the restausant does not look too inviting with the large parking lot in front of the restaurant but the service and the food are really very nice. We went there several times during this year's holidays.
We firstly discovered the pizza. Thin crust, wood-fired oven and fresh ingredients make it for us the best pizza in town. Try the Pizza Bonifacio. Cherry tomatos, anchovis and oregano - so simple and so yummie!
And don't miss the seafood! We had pasta with seafood which was good but the mixed seafood starters were even better. Our favorite though was the grilled catch of the day. You can pick your fish (we had a large spigola which served two) and they will char-grill it to perfection. What a taste!
The place can be very busy and it is advisable to make a reservation. Even if it is busy the staff are always very friendly and try their best but sometimes you may need to wait a little bit. Best to avoid the peak hour around 8pm.
