Warm and friendly staff serving up a well rounded menu. Though the atmosphere can get a little noisy, the home town ATMOSPHERE makes it fun!
The Pecan Pie is almost as good as mine. Check out the fried Portobello.....yum! And being from Chicago makes it hard to review the pizza... even so, it Is slightly better than OK.

The pickup band that plays in the back room on Sunday nights is wonderful fun, you gotta dance. NOTE: this is not a 20 something crowd!

Food is now more consistent than before. Pecan Street is a welcome change from the "comfort food" found in the area. While you can still get the fried stuff you also have a selection of more healthy fare. Most of the pizza is excellent. Burgers are varied and tasty. I've tried many of the beers, some are really good and some others are just ok. This place gets very busy and sometimes they have difficulty staying up withe crowd. If you catch them early or in more off hours, you'll have a rather timely meal.

Lovely surprise on our road trip, and what we called "a real find." I had the Cuban pork with black beans and coconut rice, served with plantain (banana) chips. Who would think to get multi-cultural fare like this in a small town? Beautiful "boutique brews" there, as well.

We enjoyed this nice little gem. It was Friday and Lent so we were looking for a nice fish dish. My husband and friends had the fish and chips and found it to be a generous portion and very tasty. I ordered the pecan crusted cod fillets topped with green onion hollandaise sauce with rice and cole slaw and it was amazing!
The beer menu consists of local brews and the wine is all from Hill country wineries. We loved it for our late lunch.

My family and I drove in from out of town and found this wonderful place. The food was fantastic! Hats off to the meatloaf, pork chops and burgers. My family has already planned a return trip to this great place. Oh and don't pass up the deserts!!
