The tours run every half hour, go to visitor center and let them know you want the next tour. While you wait, there are two good videos to watch and displays to see. Definitely go to the Texas White House, 14 miles away, too.

Stopped by on our way home from Fredericksburg. Home of our 36th President. It is a National Historic Park. Restoration of the house looks great. I was surprised at how big the bedrooms were. After tour of home we went into the visitiors center and watched a video of Lady Bird Johnson, very informative

There are separate vides for LBJ and Ms. Lady Bird. They somewhat depicted their history. We truly enjoyed that. We have so much respect and admiration for Ms. Lady Bird.

I enjoyed the blast from the past I had while seeing this place. Beautiful hill country, well kept!! Interesting facts and info was given, as we walked through the home. I was impressed by it all!

The boyhood home of the 36th President of the United States is under the control of the National Park Service, and it is considered a National Historic Park. The Park Service has done a good job of restoring the home to what it would have looked like in the 1920s. The home is open to the public and provides a picture of the early years of President Johnson.
