I first ate at Rubiu three years ago when it was located downtown.

This year I went to the new large location. Same excellent quality. We had pizza with Sardinian provolone and eggplants and a plate with cheese, prosciutto, salami, and other nice delicatessen. Great artisanal beers. We had the light ones (white and red), both really good.

This Pizzeria offers 4 different doughs and runs a own brewery - the food and location is ok but definitely not my favorite taste ...

Focus on local, fresh ingredients. Fantastic beers—easy bike ride from Hotel. The bread, seafood salad and pizza were superb. The craft beers awesome. Only wish had more time to go sgain

Place offers a variety of classic and "creative" pizzas. We thought ours were delicious and to a fair price. Rubiu also make their own beer, which is great. Only "downfall" (if one wants to be very critical) is that through its modern, slick look with a slight hipster vibe the place loses some of its Italian authenticity.

Great meal, good food and beer. Unfortunately when it comes to the staff the business has got it all wrong. The staff are impolite, rude and unfriendly. When ordering they do not speak any English or even try to help you with your choices. At the end of a nice dinner we ordered dessert which after 20 minutes did not show up. When going to the counter to pay there was yet more confusion and we were made to wait to pay the bill. No apology for the bad service or even a gesture. When opening a business as big as this one the key thing to get right is the staff. I could understand the staff not being able to speak alternative language but when the restaurant caters for different nationalities English would be the key language. It's a great shame but I would not be returning, and I would advise anyone who doesn't speak Italian to avoid!
