We visited the Su Gologne Hotel and Restaurant with great expectations after having read some excellent reviews. The location and the surrounding area is beautiful and the hotel looks as if it was once very beautiful but is now a bit run down. The gardens are lovely though and there are plenty of pretty "sitting" areas with sofas and cushions. There are also shops that sell arts & crafts. The restaurant is a gorgeous terrace overlooking the countryside. It proposes mostly traditonal Sardinian cuisine and the quality is, at best, average. Almost any "agriturismo" in Sardinia offers a better meal. Overall I would recommend it as an "experience" but only if it's on your way.
