“Diverse vegetarian menu and great prices”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

This funky, no-frills restaurant is hidden in a strip plaza next to a Jiffy Lube. The atmosphere and decor aren't much to speak of - but the friendly staff and incredible food are worth the trip. The big draw here are the dosai (huge, thin crepes) - but branch out and try it all. From the onion and chilli uthaapam to the south indian vegetable korma to the incredible desserts - everything we have eaten here on our two visits has been absolutely delicious and extremely affordable.

“Reasonably priced, good indian food, vast menu!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

Being from bombay,we love indian food! This is a totally vegetarian place with a vast menu. Great service and friendly staff! On most occasions we liked the food. although let me warn you, if you are from India, you know this is not the best "fine dine" indian restaurant option you have. But none the less, we keep going back often, only for the food.I don't really like the ambiance, it's more like tables laid out in a living room, but we ignore that as the food comes. Try the south indian and north indian dishes! Also the place gets noisy, like a temple gathering at most times! hehe, but i love the noise and the food!makes me feel like home!

“Good for your money”

Fresh foods, taste is OKAY. Pulav, Onion Uthaapam, Cabbage Curry, Sambar and Gulab Jamun tastes as like as the vegetarian Madarasi Hotel.

“YUM YUM YUM”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2012

You really need to go here! Yes, it looks like a little dive and it does help to have someone who really knows Indian cuisine with you since the menu is huge, but the food is amazing! They service the standard northern Indian food dishes which are good but the best dishes are the southern Indian food - the Idlyi, the dosas, etc. I hate most everything (if you have seen my reviews!) but this food is outstanding - the dosas are yummy, the appetizer of little crispy cups filled with potatoes, chick peas, tamarind and yogurt are dancing in my dreams and the "donuts" in the yogurt sauce?? SO delicious! I wish i knew the Indian names of all the foods to help, but trust me the food here is phenomenal. It is hard to find (the Lowell one is behind a jiffy lube!) but don't let that fool you.
Try the lunch buffet - it is cheap, amazing and you will be back!
Note: they opened a new location in Nashua, NH which I have not tried but i bet it is just as good!
I love this place - my new favorite indian restaurant in the area!

“Average food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2012 via mobile

I visited this place in August and the place has very average quality of food. The price is also not less. If you end up there, stick to dosa varieties. All other stuff is really bad.
