Service VERY slow. No issues with the slow food movement but this was just too much. The food was cold and uninteresting.

My boyfriend and I went here for our last meal in Bosa and weren't disappointed.

The restuarant is set in a peaceful square very near to the main square in the old town of Bosa - in August it was warm enough to sit outside and the restaurant quickly filled up.

The menu was inventive and enticing, with a few options for each course. The food was fresh, appealing and delicious.

The staff were extremely friendly. They spoke a little English but patiently listened to our extremely broken Italian and were very courteous and polite, despite the restaurant being full. I get the impression that some restaurants may regard tourists, particuarly foreign tourists, as transient, and therefore not deserving of the very best service but this certainly wasn't the case here.

The price was also excellent. Sardinia is often described as being expensive - August is Bosa's busiest time and restuarants could probably hike their prices if they wanted to. We had two starters, two mains, one dessert, one dessert wine, bread and the third most expensive bottle of white wine on the menu, all of which were delicious, and the bill came to 80 Euros. We thought this was extremely good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this restaurant to anyone for a really special meal.

We had a wonderful dinner at Mangiaimbuto last week, we wanted to try out the new 'kitchen team which took over this spring. The food was absolutely delicious. We were in a group and had two different starters to share, one was mussels in a bean and tomato sauce, and the other was marinated sardines, both were scrummy. We had to 'primi piatti', Risotto and spaghetti with wild boar. Both of these were also quite delicious. All accompanied by heavenly Sardinian wine. Great service, friendly and very helpful.

Small fish restaurant in a small square off the main street in Bosa. The food at this small restaurant is the best I have EVER had, very fresh, authentic and perfectly prepared. Yes the service was a little lapse but you are in Italy after all and things go at a different pace and by no means spoils the experience, so must so we went back again a couple of nights after our first trip.

We went in the evening, when the town is a little less busy and the atmosphere is very tranquil and pleasant. If you are visiting Bosa you MUST give this place a go, I know we all have different taste buds but I repeat this is the best food I have ever had and the standard was repeated on two separate occasions. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

on foot of good reviews on tripadvisor we visited this restaurant last night. Acknowledging the fact that they were rather busy and understaffed we felt that the service was extremely poor. Our waiter forgot to bring the wine on two occasions, they forgot to bring the salad which eventually arrivied 20 minutes after we had finished eating.
The food was poor, I had fish that arrived in a baking tin, un-filleted and with a few prawns thrown in, the whole dish was messy and carelessly put together. One friend had a peasant style pasta dish which was unseasoned and bland and my other friend had a dry, overcooked, flavourless pork chop somewhat reprieved by an accompanying courgette pastry.
The toilet door didn't lock properly. We won't be going back and could not recommend this restaurant....
