“Peacefull,Stylish and the warmest welcome”
Reviewed March 13, 2011

We have just returned from the best holiday we have had in years thanks to Claudia and Aldos warm hospitality and knowledge of the area.
Our amazing experience of the local carnivals was greatly enhanced by their description of what it all meant (we speak no Italian) Nothing is too much trouble.
Their home is very welcoming and delightfully furnished.
The evening meals of local produce we booked with them were fantastic - they took great efforts to ensure we experienced delicious traditional local dishes that we could not have found in the restaurants in Bosa
Pessighette is set in a lush quiet peacefull valley surrounded by their own vineyard and olive grove which are both lovingly maintained.
Bosa is a characterful medieval town situated on a lovely palm lined river that meanders out to sea with a fairytale castle perched above the winding cobbled streets.
From here we could easily reach the west and north coast (Castelsardo and Alghero well worth a visit).Within an hour the medieval town of Oristano with salt lakes of flamingos, the roman spa at Fordongianus and a little further away the snowy peaks of the Gennarggentu mountains.Closer to Bosa are fine sand beaches, wind sculptured rocks and peaceful coves
Our nine day stay here was just not long enough!!
If you are seeking a quiet rural location, excellant rooms, warm hospitality and want to be part of a true Sardinian experience then this is the place for you

We stayed 2 nights with Aldo and Claudia towards the beginning of our 10 day trip to Sardinia and by the end of our holiday it was still our favourite place out of the 6 various hotels and B&B's we'd stayed in. We had already stayed one night in Bosa itself but Pessighette is only a ten min drive to Bosa town and only 5 mins to the beach so it's a much nicer place to base yourself if you have a car. The house itself is very tastefully designed and the rooms have lots of lovely touches, again with tasteful decor. The main thing about Pessighette though is that you really feel at home but at the same time you are in a stylish house with lovely hosts. Claudia and Aldo are very relaxed and friendly and we enjoyed an amazing dinner on the first night. You can choose to eat with them in the evening as long as you let them know in advance. We had scrummy Sardinian food as well as Aldo's own wine (they have their own vineyard there), lovely Limoncello and their own olive oil (they also have an olive grove). The breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip and really we couldn't fault our stay there and we're fussy enough travellers! We would absolutely recommend Pessighette to anyone and if we return to Sardinia, we'll definitely be heading their way.

We stayed at Pessighettte for three nights in September '10 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The venue is an old family house situated in a particulary lush valley. The set-up is completed by Claudia, Aldo and Daisy who are very welcoming and helpful. The dinner in the garden was very memorable and delicious, we will return some day!

Thanks to Caludia and Aldo for giving us a piece of Sardinian life during our stay. The grapes were harvested uring the days we were there. You can join them for dinner at night and it was of excellent qualityout the local food and area. Breakfast is sserved around the big kitchen table with the other guests. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with a sofa fo relaxation. Bosa l and the marina are less then 10 minutes away by car and there are several nice places to visit.

We have stayed at many B&B`s so far but La Pessighette definitely ranks among the best. The most outstanding feature is how welcome and comfortable we were made to feel for the time we stayed. The hosts, Aldo and Claudia, really make you feel at home. The breakfasts were delicious, as well as the dinner we shared together. The rooms and the ambiance are also very charming.
We have no reservations recommending this lovely place!

As part of a two week trip to Sardinia, we stayed the last couple of days with Aldo and Claudia, and of all the B&Bs we visited, this one was by far the best. Brand new, very cute and clean rooms with all the amenities one needs, also a balcony. The B&B is set in a very nice location with rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves, as well as being close to both Bosa and beaches. As their friends came by, we also had the opportunity to take part in a traditional Sardinian dinner/feast, a memorable experience and great fun. This B&B is a must try and is destined to become a travellers favorite. We will definitely return next time we are in Sardinia.
