Our stay at Pessighete was amazing. At Pessighette you feel very welcome. Aldo and Claudia give you excellent service and really care about you getting the best out of your stay. They gave us great tips on things to do in the vincinty, and also at our next stop on Sardinia. The setting is beautiful and the breakfast is very good. I would really recommend staying here If you want to visit the east of Sardinia.

Beautiful country house surrounded by the vineyard and the Mediterranean scrub. The hosts very kind and helpful. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast on the patio in the morning brings you back to the world. Really a nice place .. out of chaos.

We highly recommend this beautiful country retreat. So peaceful and close to pretty town of Bosa as well as the coast. The room that we stayed in was immaculate, very tasteful with a nice balcony!
Nice breakfast with homemade bread. Aldo and Claudia are wonderful.

We were so glad we decided to stay here for our 5 nights in the area instead of in town. Bosa is small, but beautifully picturesque and well-worth experiencing. The streets are very narrow and we had no interest in trying to drive them, so staying a couple miles away out in the country was perfect. It's easy to park across the small river and walk over one of the bridges when you do want to go into the center.
Aldo and Claudia have a beautiful and serene place - the pictures on their website are very accurate. We stayed in the Crema room, which was spacious and very comfortable with a private balcony. Make note of their description of the building and the beamed ceilings - a very tall person may find it challenging to navigate the room though. The whole place is spotlessly clean, breakfasts are fresh and plentiful, including custom-made coffee and freshly baked bread.
They were not able to cook a full dinner for us during our stay, but instead they prepared a delicious apertif of typical local meats, cheeses, breads, desert, and Aldo's excellent wine for us on our last night. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and it was plenty of food for our dinner!
Aldo and Claudia have great advice on restaurants and beaches of course (we never used the marina beach because we wanted to see more of the area). We really appreciated the use of beach chairs and an umbrella. S'Abba Druche is a short drive north and a fabulous place to spend the day. Because there is an entry fee (7 Euros per car) the beach doesn't get as crowded and there is a restaurant and outdoor showers, which makes it even more attractive.
We highly recommend walking up to the castle from town, which for some strange reason was not included in Lonely Planet's recommendations. There are different walking routes, either winding through the streets gradually uphill or taking a more direct route up the many flights of stone steps at the far end of town.
Enough said, go enjoy yourselves at Pessighette!
