Miss Rosa helps you to her outmost to make your stay as comfortabel as possible. Our house was spacious, surrounded by some 6 more rentals. Below on our terrace we had streetview but on the balcony (+\- 1,5 x 4 mtrs, with outboard airco) most welcome seaview. The villa's claim to be located 200 mtrs from sandbeach Porto Fraillis. Those 200 mtrs might be right, but the beach actually is more rocky to pebble with quit some seaweed or kelp-like stuff, about 250 mtrs long and a bit poor 10 mtrs wide and pritty crowded. Stil nice for a cooling swim. However, if you walk up towards that "tower-ruin" which you can't miss (look south) and go over that hill, youll find a non-crowded, white sandy (Orini) beach, some 1.000 mtrs x 25 mtrs, beach-bar present, far far less seaweed, very good swimming possibilities. From Porto Fraillis there even goes a bus every hour which passes the road to that beach (check the bus sign for timings) which often run late. Trips always are €1,- p.p., if you go fully around (comes at Porto Fraillis again in 1 hour) or leave at next stop. This bus brings you also to Piazza Cavous in Tortoli at the main bus terminal to the a-r-s-t busses heading south or north (tickets to be bought in the bar (ask, there are no recognisable signs) around the corner of Cavous!). Busses are cheap but often late and many times lame with signals or timetables. Villa is excellent for relaxation while Arbatax is small! Also has a harbour where passengerships dock and the smalltracktrain has its last (or first) station. Not in for cooking? Theres a good pizzeria around the corner, 3 min walk.
