Our room was large, and very clean, the bathroom was also very clean, with a small stall shower which was easy to use.Its very old world Italian looking, so not alot of extras, but we enjoyed our stay there, the manager/owner was excellent and friendly. He spoke English..The rooms have no televisions..Parking was easy, but you go to a tobacco store and purchase a parking ticket. The town is amazing. We will return and stat at Hotel Lucy.

Park on the street, getting parking cards from the tobacconist (2€ a half day), enter through big double wooden doors, discreetly marked, and take the elevator or stairs up a flight. Our room was spacious, with French doors, though no balcony, a terrazzo Floor, a firm bed, an armoire, and a table. It had a typical small bathroom with a decent shower. I don’t remember other amenities. There are other rooms with balconies, though I’m unsure of sea views.
The hotel is in a large building next to a church (bells ring often in daytime) and a lovely large public garden, around the small harbor from the old town, and restaurants. It doesn’t offer breakfast. There’s no lobby, but there’s a basket of books thoughtfully provided on a table in the hall. This is an indication of the accommodating host, who was the most special quality of the hotel. We asked a few favors, and he helped us each time.

Once again Luca provided a warm welcome and comfortable stay in his elegant family run hotel situated between the harbour and the waterfront park. In order to be sure my 89yr old mother could access facilities, he responded to queries in advance, always helpful and informative. He also took the time to tell us in clear english about the most up to date restaurants in Trani and the surrounding area. His recommendations turned out to be absolutely superb with world class food which my discerning family thoroughly enjoyed. Altogether, we are very grateful to him for making it a superb memorable long weekend in Trani, also reasonably priced.

This hotel was very clean and the host was very friendly and knowledgeable. We didn’t know what to expect with the hotel or with Trani but we liked them both....a lot! We would definitely stay here again

Albergo (Hotel) Lucy is right in the heart of the action, next to Villa Comunale and the harbor with great views onto Piazza Plebiscito. When we visited for 2 nights in October, we loved being able to walk out our door and join all the locals strolling and dining around the harbor on the weekend. The room was large, with high ceilings, very clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the small balcony watching the action below. The double paned windows made the room very quiet at night for sleeping.

Room tip: rooms overlooking Piazza Plebiscito are well situated to people watch
