We got this hotel for a great price on Hotwire while recently staying in Boston. We liked it because of the easy access to the "T" (subway) and within walking distance to a great restaurant called the Eastside Bar & Grille. Decent breakfast, nice room. Very friendly & helpful. $5 parking fee per night. We would stay here again while visiting the Boston area.

Stayed one night and stayed up all night on the chair, found out they don't put box springs on the beds. Called my daughter and she picked us up the next morning. breakfast was OK the view was not the best

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. As all of our beds also have box springs, I am not sure if there was another issue with your room or not. Thank you for your comments nonetheless.

Stayed a week for a convention in downtown Boston. The room rates are pretty low compared to downtown Boston which is a plus. The room was recently renovated, was nice and clean. I used the T, which is a short 5 minute walk and super convenient. The Lechmere station is the last stop on the green line, so the trains were never packed and easy to use. Neighborhood is urban, but fine and safe. There is a McDonald's next door and nice grocery store a 3-4 min walk away. Only things I would complain about is the wireless Internet would occasionally fake out or slow down. The morning breakfasts were pretty packed with people, but they did a good job of bringing out more food.

Room Tip: I would recommend asking for a room in the back of the building since it's off the street, over looks a quieter residential area, and has a nice view of downtown.

The hotel room was clean and decent enough. But our toilet was not functioning properly and simple requestes like for extra towels took forever. Breakfast nothing spectacular. Location was good though.

I had read some bad reviews about this hotel on other websites so I was skeptical about making a reservation, however those reviewers were wrong or the reviews were old. We just stayed there, checking out 8/8/12. The hotel had a great rate for families visiting Boston University, it was close to the "T" stop, the front desk staff was helpful and patient (even when I called three times early on a Sunday morning to be sure of my walking instructions) and the room was newly renovated and very comfortable. The breakfast was not gourmet but I don't think most people eat gourmet breakfasts on a regular basis. It was comprehensive, offering cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, a selection of juice and milk, do-it-yourself pancakes, bagels and cream cheese, toaster waffles, eggs (including hard-boiled), bacon or breakfast sausage and, of course, coffee which was available 24 hours. It was very easy to get around Boston to the universities and other attractions we were visiting. The "T" stop was three blocks away and a short ride to Government Center connected you to many other lines on the "T" that got us where we wanted to go. The hotel parking lot was often full so it was nice not to have to worry about parking the car and being able to take public transportation instead. If you don't mind walking, this hotel is a great deal in a good location.

Room Tip: The double queen room was spacious enough for myself and my daughter.
