The room was perfectly correct, and the location is very convenient of course, but no specials to justifiy a very high price ($380 single). A very small bathroom, a lot of noise coming from the soda machine across the corridor, an absolutely icy air conditioning all over the hotel, and no breakfast!... Not impressed.

Dear Valued Guest: Thank you very much for your constructive review of the hotel. I apologize about the soda machine and ice machine making noise across the hall from your room and I will follow up and check. Also the hallways were chilly with our AC making it uncomfortabley cool. We do try to price our hotel in the mid-market range for our city center location in Harvard Square and October is a high demand month driving up the rooms pricing. I am sorry that the price value did not meet your expectations. We do try to provide a friendly hospitality to our international travelers and hope that you found our staff helpful during your stay. Sincerely, Richard Carbone General Manager

The rooms were cute and clean but it was the owner that made our stay amazing! He was so helpful and kind to us. We really appreciated the extra mile he went. Usually the cleanliness of the room is what I focus on, but this trip was all about the amazing staff.

My husband and daughter and I found this hotel perfectly comfortable and quiet on our recent 2-day trip to Cambridge. The first night we checked in, left our luggage, and went out for a late supper, but when we got back around 11 pm or later the door lock would not work, even with the manager's master keycard. It took until 3 am to get it open. In the meantime, we were provided another room and the manager personally called to apologize. We were not charged for that night and felt that it's unavoidable that stuff happens, but the management made it right. Staff could not have been more courteous and recommended the terrific Crema Cafe just a block away for breakfast. Beds were quite comfortable, including the nice down pillows, and everything was perfectly clean and in good order--towels were fine, too. We were happy to forego the frills of the other considerably more expensive hotels in Cambridge and would happily stay here again with no hesitation.

The hotel is located across the street from the Harvard Kennedy School. The people who work at the hotel are all bright and customer-oriented. Although there is no coffee on the room, a very good selection of coffee and tea downstairs with cream and milk makes a big difference. The bed was great with a duvet and plenty of pillows.

Very expensive for a teeny tiny room with no other real amenities on the property. Upside is it was very clean and close to Harvard for visiting purposes. The sink in our room had barely a trickle of water so the simple act of brushing your teeth was a chore. The showers have no door so it is very cold - until the teeny tiny bathroom warms up. NO sink counter space at all. When i mentioned it upon check out they did not even respond to my issue so I paid my very expensive bill and left. This might be fine for one person but it is very tight for more than that and make sure your sink works properly before you stay.
