We walked to this restaurant from the nearby Holiday Inn Express (also recommended) through the snow and temperatures of -10C with wind chill the night of 2 January 2014, in the middle of the big polar storm. The place was warm and welcoming, even if empty apart from us and a young couple who left (not because we arrived).
The mussels were the best I have tasted outside of Britanny, and the main fish course - stuffed sole - was excellent. Just rather a lot of it! The half bottle of very good red Portugese wine was only $11 dollars and the whole experience was the best meal in the States during our entire New Year stay, and that included a posh afternoon tea and a New Year's Eve special bash in Newport RI.
