Tealuxe is very small and charming tea cafe in Harvard Square. They have daily specials as well as a menu listing a wide variety of green, black, herbal, and other types of teas, which you can choose to have hot, iced, with bubbles, etc. It's a lot of fun to go in and try and new flavor of tea every time. I really liked the mint chamomile, and they had a hot strawberry tea in winter which was really good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, letting customers sample all the teas they have readily available and patiently waiting for then to pick their favorite one (all the tea probably makes them very zen). My only complaint is that there is no bathroom...which can be kind of uncomfortable in a tea shop...they have to constantly direct customers to a bathroom across the street. The bathroom situation is the only thing that give Starbucks an unfair advantage, hopefully they can get one soon!

It was nice to see the variety of teas available, and to have knowledgeable staff to provide suggestions. I had a cold herbal tea, as it was a warm summer day. I'd recommend stopping in. I love coffee and tea, but tea shops are rare.

Definitely my favourite cafe in Harvard Square - the perfect place to while away an afternoon with a cup - or a couple of cups - of tea. There's good wifi and the atmosphere is chilled out and relaxing unlike some of the more hectic cafes. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their extensive selection of teas. I tried the chai-der (apple cider with chai tea), green sencha bubble tea, matcha green tea latte, and green tea with pear. Their cookies are freshly made and delicious (and as other reviewers have noted, definitely sized for sharing). The only downsides are the lack of a bathroom and the occasional crunch for seating space, and I wish it was possible to add bubbles to all the teas rather than just the daily special-teas.

I've been a regular customer here for 5 years. The space is reliably quieter than other cafes in the sq, making it a good study option. (Note, however, that there is no restroom for customers, which indirectly imposes a limit on lingering too long.) The tea selection is extensive, and the staff is extremely gracious and accommodating in helping you select the right tea, either for enjoying to stay or in packing up the loose leaf to go.

They have a decent selection of vegan baked goods in addition to standard options. The vegan cookies are WONDERFUL but very large, so best to bring a friend.

Great stop for a quick cup of tea on a cold rainy day.

Large variety of teas togo or within a teapot. My teen loved this place.

Although I ordered chocolate tea, it is pipin steamin hot and can barely hold cup. Decided to walk around with it while it seeps and cools. I know flavor will be better but need a danger caution injury warning with this place!
