This place is just off Central Square and has just a handful of tables. We've eaten here four or five times and enjoy the food. The portions sizes are generous and their signature lemonade is great - with rose petals floating in it. Make sure to leave some room for dessert - we tried the creme` brulee and the cheesecake and they were both delicious.

The owner is a loud, friendly Muslim woman from Tunisia and she makes you feel right at home. Also, all the food is halaal and she doesn't serve any alcohol.

I got to Baraka 1-2 times per year and it's always consistent: good, unique food; good service; and a great atmosphere. I think it's better to visit in the winter when the dim lighting and warm colors and heat from the kitchen make you feel like your in someone's home kitchen.

Lunch is definitely quieter, more low-key. The lemonade is a *must.* Back when Boston Magazine did "Best of Boston: Lemonade" this was the winner. It's delicious with rose petals and other flavors in it that you can't find at many other places in the city.

Small place with just 5-6 tables but nice atmosphere. Incredibly friendly service, limited but authentic menu and large portions. The Moroccan and Tunisian recommendations were truly outstanding. Good value for the leisure traveller. Location a bit out of the way.

On the word of some fellow users here at Trip Advisor, we decided to check this place out for dinner. What we ended up with was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. We (two of us) ordered two appetizers and split an entree. Everything we had was really interesting and different - brilliant flavors from all dishes and everything had a real homemade feeling about it. If you're in the mood for dessert, get the chocolate tort. The nice lady running the joint told us she won awards for it and I believe her.

Oh, and DO NOT forget to order some lemonade. They don't serve alcohol here, and we didn't miss it one bit. This lemonade is to die for. We think it's spiced with some nutmeg and rose petals (yes, nutmeg and rose petals). Phenomenal, trust me.

Service was perfectly fine. The english spoken by most of the staff is pretty limited, but it didn't get in the way at all.

We were ready to catch the next flight to Tunisia after eating here.
