“Take Out”
Reviewed September 13, 2008

I had ordered MOMO THUKPA, THUNLAM TOSOE, and DESHI . I have to say it is good. Momo Thukpa surely good for winter or when you feel run down. I added some spice in there for a kick, it was excellent. Thunlam Tosoe was a good try for three appetizer, i think it was just a little bit oily. Deshi, alike middle east dessert. Very good as well. Good to try!

“Tibetan Lunch Buffet”
Reviewed March 18, 2008

Rahgzen Tibetan Place is about a block from the Central Square T stop on Pearl St. The small restaurant was simply but tastefully decorated in a Tibetan style.

We dined there for a weekday lunch buffet. It was reasonably priced, with a fine variety of dishes. It included soups, fried appetizers with sauces (similar to Indian chutneys), an oily bread that reminded us of a cross between Naan and Ethiopian Ingera, a wide variety of meat and vegetarian entrees, and a nice assortment of fruit. Two types of hot tea were included. I would like to go back the next time I get to Boston and order ala carte at dinner.

For the combination of atmosphere, variety, and value, I'd rate this as excellent.
