Met some old pals here for dinner, and had a great time! I went with two appetizers - the beet salad (delicious and interesting to the palate - never thought of cardamom with beets, but it was delish!) and the "black and blue" (hanger steak with crispy shallots, figs and blue cheese -perfect balance of sweet, salty, pungent, and the steak was super tender!). My friends tried the lamb cigar, trout, brie and apple sandwich, lentils, bitter greens salad and the pork chop, which looked like the big rib thing that the Flintstones tied on the roof of their car (it was gigantic!) - everyone seemed quite happy, and we were all too full for dessert (too bad, the things the guys at the next table got looked yummy!)! The waitstaff were very attentive too. We all agreed that Abigail's was a good choice!
