“A gem in Cambridge”
Reviewed April 27, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Amazing place at the heart of Cambridge. Super well located and the house is great! The owners (Annmarie and Kevin) were very nice and always available in case something came up (which fortunately didn't). I will definitely use it again!

“Very comfortable and convenient location”
Reviewed April 22, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We would highly recommend this rental in Cambridge! The owners are very nice, accommodating and available for questions and recommendations. We were welcomed by friendly dogs and a fridge with snacks and beverages. The space is very clean and comfortable. It is nice to have a kitchen and living space to stretch out in when traveling with a family. I only wish the weather allowed us to enjoy the rooftop deck more! The location is great - we could easily walk to many of our destinations and the train stop is very close. We loved having local restaurants to choose from after we spent our days out and about. While we did not have or need a car, you can park it on site - which seems to be a huge advantage in these neighborhoods.

“Clean, comfortable, spacious”
Reviewed February 22, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

This apartment was as advertised and we spent an enjoyable four nights here. The building is rather old but the apartment was clean and everything in good repair. The master bedroom is quite spacious, the 2nd bedroom a decent size, and the living room was also quite comfortable for 3 people. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the owners thoughtfully had provided drinks in the fridge (beer, wine, water, juice). There is a little balcony opposite the kitchen which we enjoyed on our last day once the snow had melted. Beds were comfortable, shower pressure was good and we were able to control the heat so were perfectly warm. It's a two-block walk to Whole Foods, and you can get to Central Sq and the T walking within 5 minutes and MIT in 15 mins. Owners were very nice. Parking place right next to the apartment building. We would definitely stay here again.

“Great location, great hospitality”
Reviewed February 13, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

The owners of this property are warm and hospitable, welcoming us in with some food, drink, and a loaner Pack n Play and stroller -- they were also very flexible when we had to extend our stay partway through the visit. We stayed in the 2-bedroom, 1-bath third-floor apartment -- there are a lot of stairs on the way, but once you're there it's cozy and well furnished with magazines, board games and a couple of televisions. The off-street parking spot is a real bonus in this neighborhood! The kitchen is well equipped with cookware, dishes, a stove, oven, full-sized refrigerator and microwave, but you might have to duck your head if you're much over six feet tall. It is an excellent location with a park/playground just a block away, and Central Square (with a T stop, drugstores, and restaurants) a short walk off. We would definitely stay here again.

“Home away from home!”

Such a great experience with a warm and friendly welcome, invaluable advice, A/C, comfy beds, wifi, wine and beer in the fridge AND a rooftop patio to enjoy. Loved the authentic Cambridge experience to stay in a house built in 1844. They've kept the house up nicely and you can tell they love their home. We stayed for one week while moving our son into his new life at Harvard. Having a parking spot for the rental car was helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Great location!

“Nice homely spot from which to explore Boston”
Reviewed August 18, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Friends (real ones - not Tripadvisor virtual friends!) recommended this place to us and we'd recommend it to others.
The owners made us feel at home and shared their garden produce, a few beers and wine - who could ask for more...
The top floor apartment had a nice little deck to pass the evening on after walking miles round Boston.

“Great location, apartment and owners”
Reviewed July 25, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

I stayed here for 16 days during a visit to Harvard. It was 20 min walk to Harvard Yard, 5 min to Central Sq. and T, 3 min to Wholefoods supermarket, and 1 min to the park (for my wife and son). The apartment had aircon, which was great when it was over 90! The kitchen was well equipped and the broadband was super fast. The owners were most accommodating and realy looked after us.
