My nine year old daughter and I stayed at this B&B this summer. We loved the accomodation and the location. The house was clean, updated, bright and cheery. A real home away from home. The home was quintessential New England and very charming. The kitchen was modern, the washer/dryer were super convenient, and the jacuzzi was fabulous. The baths were private.) We were centrally located near Central Square "T" in Cambridge and felt safe walking to and from the subway even late in the evening after site seeing in Boston. We also loved the nearby Whole Foods grocer, restaurants and even rental car agency to which we walked. We had a great time at this spot and would look to stay there again!!

LOVED our place and we will be back! It was excellent! Central to the subway, a couple of minutes to Whole Foods, and surrounded by great restaurants and pubs. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The other guests were super nice. We loved it. Plain and simple.

We stayed here for three nights in room 2 and were actually the only guests, so we had the whole house for ourselves.

The rooms are very nice and spacious, spotless clean and have everything you need, large comfortable beds and bathroom. The kitchen also seems well equipped, although we did not use anything there. We did not figure out how to turn off the A/C but maybe that was our own incompetence and it did not matter that much. Equally, our TV didn't seem to work and there was no TV in the main living room, but there if free Wi-Fi which is probably quite as good anyway. And here, it also might have been the problem that we probably just did not push the right buttons.

The neighbourhood is very quiet and feels very safe. A very short walk to the Whole Foods market where you can also get coffee, 5 minutes to the subway.

We did very much enjoy our stay and would definitely come again.

My girlfriend and my sister and I had a wonderful stay at the house for four days. The owner wasn't around and if she were we'd love to get to know the person who shares her house with out of town guests. We had rooms 1 and 2 on the 2nd floor - both very comfortable. And we felt quite at home and got to know the other pleasant guests, especially an interesting woman from Holland in Boston for a conference and who was there for three nights at the same time as us. We walked around the area, enjoying the lovely homes and shops on Cambridge St. and were only ten minutes from Central Square subway and then a couple of short stops to the Commons.

A safety issue: The "double bed" room (2, I think) in the back has a step down from a small platform which can be dangerous if you're not looking. My sister tripped over it until she put the waste basket there to catch her eye. Also, make sure the round red rug is prominent and close to the final step going downstairs. One of the other guests and myself both tripped at different times, the eye deceived into thinking it's the bottom landing. Fortunately neither of us injured anything and recovered before falling.

A small matter but for people who like toast, the toaster oven didn't work. We used the oven instead.

BTW we thought the plastic over the jacuzzi in the King Bedroom was there to protect water from leaking from the shower and down into the ceiilng below and not a sign to say don't use it as a previous guest complained in her review. I hope that was the case because we enjoyed using it after long walks exploring Boston.

I stayed for 6 days at this house (in room 3), and I felt home immediately. Also the quiet neighbourhood with all those trees in the street made it feel like home. At a next visit to Boston, I would like to stay again in this house. Just one block away from the house is a biological supermarket (Whole Foods Market) with a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit. Also the subway to Boston downtown was just about 5 minutes walking.

My husband and I were in rm 1 and our two teenage kids were in rm 3. Great location - walk to Whole Foods, walk to Central Square, walk to subway. Kitchen is nice and roomy. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clean. The parking spots in the back are pretty tight - don't bring a big car!
