I lived here in the MIT campus for a year, it is full of things to do, to see, to participate, to explore and to experience! Very nice and extremely interesting. If you have some free time, just stop by at a conference room, you will find a good way to learn something and spend your time in the best way ever! The atmosphere is incredibly informal, and this makes everything even more enjoyable! A+++

Walking through the Infinite Corridor gives you just a small taste of all the wonderful work done by the really bright people at MIT. Enjoy the views of the Charles River, the interesting outdoor sculpture and eclectic mix of traditional and modern buildings. The MIT Museum, just up Mass Ave, is also a great place to visit.

A very nice university to visit. It is open to all people. You can freely enter most of the buildings, libraries, and even apply for free tours from some labs.

To arrive, you may take off red line at Kendall square, where locates in the east boundary of the campus. You can also take off No.1 bus at 77 Mass Ave, which is the center of the campus.

There are some fastfood restaurant in the student center nearby 77 Mass Ave: subway, teriyaki, taco and so on. There are also some truck foods around the campus.

MIT museum is a must to go for fans of holography and robots. Ticket is $10 for adult and $5 for students and seniors.Admission is free the last Sunday of each month, all day, from September 2013 - June 2014

There are 2 Free Guided tours leaving each day .They are conducted by Students but ours was more directed towards potential Students than overseas visitors. You can however pick up a Self guide Map at the information office and walk yourself around .Well worth a visit.

It's a nice campus and obviously visiting one of the world's best universities is special but if you also visit Harvard then MIT comes in second as somewhere you'd want visit for look and feel.
