“Quick, tasty, Mexican sandwich stand”
Reviewed July 14, 2012 via mobile

Olecito is the much smaller, quick serve, across-the-street sibling of Ole.

Good place to stop in for a quick sandwich (tortas), taco, or burrito.
I had the Sonora torta which was, in essence, a steak sub. Steak, cheese, poblano peppers, and some sauce, guacamole, etc

Excellent lunch. Friendly people handling a pretty consistent line. Would stop in again so I could try the tacos.

“Not your ordinary taco stand”
Reviewed August 26, 2009

For one, there are no chicken tacos. Maybe that would be too boring. Instead go for a Baja ( battered shrimp) or Carnitas ( pork w/ pineapple salsa) taco. These are both delicious. The vegetarian ( or at least non-meat ) options look good and I can't wait to try the other offerings.

“Fast, tasty, reasonably priced”
Reviewed August 2, 2009

The smaller counterpart to the nicer Ole, the restaurant across the street, Olecita is perfect for a quick meal. The burritos are big and stuffed full of deliciousness and served with a handful of chips. There are a handful of stools at a small bar in the window if you wanted to eat in, but the place is really designed for take out. As a poor student, I've had my fair share of cheep burritos and the one here definitely ranked among the better ones.
