Owner description: Welcome to Harvard Square Each year, over 8 million men, women and children visit Harvard Square. Visitors come for a variety of reasons; this is a place of history, of books, of ideas, and of learning. It is a place of bookstores and coffee houses, of fine dining and eclectic shopping. It is a place of folk music and old theaters, of Cuban ballet and world-class music, of street-performers and award-winning pizza, of public discourse, and public art. Whatever brings you here, we welcome you and hope you enjoy your stay.

some good browsing shops, a few good cafes, good walk around small green areas leading into 'old' harvard.

HQ is gard to label: you find rich students, tourists, posh shops, street musicians, homeless people...all within 100 yards. Very special atmosphere, we felt very safe at all times.

Harvard Square is a small triangle. It is close to the Harvard Library and the Harvard Stature. After a short tour of the campus, we stopped here. It was early Sunday morning, so that it was not crowded. I bought one spinach cheese croissant for $3.5. The innovation pays, even if it is not very special. So what counts is ideas.

Lot's of students and lot's of tourist. Some good shops and restaurants and some chain places that looked terrible. Very busy on a beautiful day. Glad to see it once.
