The Villla Torretta Milano is an oasis away from the hustle & bustle of this industrial City, yet only a 20 min. Metro ride to the city centre. Within its ancient walls is the Vicollo of the Torretta Restaurant with its award winning chef Angelo Nasta presenting mouth watering local dishes accompanied by some fine wines from an extensive cellar. 'Rooms are nice & cosy with that old world charm, the staff are very pleasant & you will find it easy to relax after a days work or touring around. One of my favourite Hotels in Italy & the only place I stay in Milan.

I was travelling on business in Italy between Bergamo and Milan and decided to stay closer to Milan, but outside the city itself. I found this hotel which used to be an old monastery. I got a very large room, a suite is a better word.
The breakfast was being served in a beautiful part of the monastery with high ceilings and wall paintings. The breakfast was really nice for just 15 euros. This hotel is a hidden gem! Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Villa Torretta this week while on business in Milan. Beautiful villa and the design is keeping with its heritage. My room was a suite, with a very comfortable bed, and furnished elegantly. Service was Italian service at its best - friendly, helpful and charming. Breakfast was fine - fresh and well presented. Location is a little out of the city but it's close to public transport. I'll be back when in Milan!
