“Clean and simple”
Reviewed June 11, 2014

Visiting Milan for a couple of days, our objective was finding a hotel which meet two objectives: 1) As cheap as possible and 2) Clean.
Hotel Bristol, not to be confused with the four star Milano Hotel Bristol, was a bit outside of the way and required a little extra in terms of metro tickets to get there, but achieved the goal of being cheap. To our pleasant surprise, it was also very clean, had a very decent bathroom and even had a little balcony.
The room only served as a place for sleeping, but that it did quite well. The only downside was, that sounds from neighbouring rooms (water pipes) and traffic from outside could be a tad loud. But it never prevented any sleep from being had. The night clerk, which we almost exclusively interacted with, was nice and helpful.

I did not expect any special accommodation, when booking the hotel. The quality and price completely correspond the the declared two stars rating. But the location is nice, some 500 m from the Sesto Rondo metro station. It takes about 20 minutes to reach downtown Milan.
A lot of cafes, shops, an open air market and supermarket in a walking distance.

Stayed in February. Heater didn't work at all, woke up with sore throat. Went to front desk in a morning to ask for any kind of compensation was called crazy. Explanation was that in Italy there is no hot water in heaters during 1am and 8am. Man at the front desk was very rude (he was wearing winter jacket - thats how cold this place was).

Room itself was very basic, stone cold floor, outdated furniture and bathroom. Breakfast was bad joke. The only pro may be free wifi, nd lot of street parking up the street, that's about it.

I suggest you to avoid this place.

Room Tip: Do not stay here!

Our Deluxe Double Room (!) turned out to be some sort of a loft located on the last 6th floor, right next to the elevator engine. The windows were permanently cluttering from the wind which made our 2 nights simply unbearable. Bare stone floors, collection of old furniture served as the interior decor. The fact that there were actually holes between window frames and the walls didn't improve our comfort at all. Gladly there was a heater we could plug in. Bathroom would be ok if there was actually a warm water running in the tap. Very basic breakfast (some fake croissant and packed jam). Located just outside of urban area, so 48h Milan transportation pass was not useful. Two stars hotel - seriously ? Not satisfactory even for low budget accommodation.

Buongiorno,

Saluti

Good morning,
these rooms are rented only by special sites of hostels (host * orld, hostel * ookers, hostelclu *). Where possible we give the rooms recently renovated to them (if available; ')
Booking directly with us or in the various portals that you find on the web (enus *, * ooking etc..) You will find rooms that faithfully rispecchianoi pictures found on various sites.
When you book a double room on a specific agency for hostels EUR 12.50 per person (25 € the room) with private bathroom, LCD TV, wi-fi in the room, buffet breakfast, valet parking, 24 hour reception! What do you expecting to find??? when i personally would go into room would have been surprised to find the beds ...
The interesting thing 'that the collection of'' bad'' that we won on this site have been assigned to these people, if you look are for the most part account with only one review, ours!
What's even more 'beautiful' that often we see them come back ...

greetings

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The price is ok but the staff was not helpful and polite at all. The receptionist guy is not kind and always look in bad humor so do not pretend ask him for directions or questions even the lady who works at the cafeteria is not helpful. In addition, The rooms are very terrible and disgusting. The building is very old I do not recommend for families. I will never come back to that place it was the worst experience I have ever had

I know it's my fault but I mistook this hotel and hotel bristol in central. If I had known this location far from central, I would never have booked for sure.
So confused because of the same hotel name also under the same company but the central one was closed already so no more this terrible mistake I think.

Ok back to this hotel review, first very hot like hell. No air conditioning at all. All you can get in this hot Milano summer is just one fan. So we always had very very hard night to have a nice sleep with a small twin bedroom which didn't look clean enough!

Also staff were not friendly. Especially one guy always looked like in a bad mood, no smile, no speak(just nodding or something when we asked something) I really wonder why he was hired.

There's an old-typed elevator but very narrow and small and hard to use it. So only once we did it for our big luggage.

Breakfast was including that's awesome but not so tasty so only once was enough for us.

The price might be very cheap as for twin room but I never come back again for sure.
I can't still believe this place is called "hotel"!!!!

Very very basic hotel. This is more of a very low cost motel with no service whatsoever. You have to get your own coffee too.
The room is small, not the cleanest, bathromm is good.
Complimentary breakfast is croissant and tea/ coffee.
It is far from the Duomo, but very near to the metro from where one can take a direct metro to the duomo.
We were out of the room the entire day, so kind of fine, it is difficult to stat inside the room for more han an hour or so especially if you are with family.
Oh! by the way, our room was Deluxe!!! Regular rooms do not have attached bathrooms
