“Great Hotel, Quiet Location”
Reviewed May 3, 2010

The hotel itself is beautiful, Very contemporary. The staff are very friendly and are very helpful. We forgot to bring a travel adapter as we booked on the same day as travel, we phoned down to reception and within 5 minutes they brought one up to our room. We also requested razors and they to were given to us quickly. The rooms were very clean and spacious and cleaned every day along with clean towels. We would suggest booking a standard room and asking for an upgrade which costs 10 Euro or 15 Euro with mini bar, this was good value as the drinks from the mini bar starts at 5 Euro if you dont have the upgrade.
The menu in the restruarant in the hotel is quite expensive for the portions of food and not much variety, we prefered eating out which was slightly cheaper.
The taxi from Mapensa Airport costs around 80-90 euro at night, i think the price varies during the day.
We got a taxi into the city centre and its cost around 30 Euro, on the second day we got the Metro underground which was only 2 Euro and alot quicker. The metro is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, the hotel staff will show you on a map the best stop for you
The only downside was the hotel seemed quite far out and nothing to see or walk to.
The building was very interesting to look at and we got some great photos.
A definate must see is the Cathedral in the main square, its beautiful. Milan is very expensive so definately make sure you have lots of money or credit cards as we were quite shocked how much food a drink is. The shopping is great with all designer shops but quite pricey compared to the UK.

I got this hotel through the Last Minute Top Secret Hotels deal, and did get a good deal on the advertised price. The hotel is located near the Rho Fiera metro and train stations. From Garibaldi station on the train it is about 15 minutes, and trains are very regular. When you come out of the station through, the area seems to be just a building site- when I was there it didn’t even seem like the station was finished. (FYI- when I visited, you could buy metro tickets at the station, but not tickets for the train, so try and buy them at one of the other Milan stations. Also, there is nothing else in the area, such as shops, restaurants, bars etc) When you come out of the station there are no signs to the hotel, but you need to go towards the West gate (Porta Ovest) Once you go round the edge of the Fiera you will see the hotel. The hotel building is very funky. Inside it is very well presented. The rooms are very large- I booked a single, but when I arrived I got a massive double bed. The breakfast is brilliant- probably one of the best ones I have ever had in an Italian hotel. There was everything to choose from, and plenty of it. I would certainly recommend the hotel in the future- despite it not being in walking distance of the centre of Milan, the price and quality made up for it, and the ease of transfer to and from the city makes it perfectly acceptable.

An architecturally stunning, beautiful modern hotel. The two towers of the hotel were designed by the famous French architect Dominique Perrault and both towers lean at about 15 degrees- very unusual, but don't use this hotel if your trip is focused on downtown Milan - it's about 8 km from the centre in a deserted setting surrounded by motorways and trade fairs...

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in - in terms of comfort and design. Rooms were compact but nicely decorated and flat screen TV had lots of input sockets for USB/Ipod etc. Good breakfast buffet (except for stadium rock soundtrack) and friendly, helpful staff, it just felt a bit isolated though. A late night Taxi home from downtown Milan cost about 35 Euros and the walk to the nearest Metro line takes about 15 mins – fine in September, but I can imagine it would be quite a slog in July/August without much shade.

Extras were a bit pricey for me. (Especially the WIFI access) - however, there is a petrol garage shop within easy walking distance (just cross the car park, climb up the bank and cut through a field!) -and a very friendly Takeout Pizza joint in the housing estate behind the garage.

If you do stay, ask for a room near the top, and if they can’t provide that, at least visit the Fitness room at the top of one of the towers!

Was going to the I-Day festival so this hotel was conveniently located about 10 minutes to the Fiera grounds and 15 minute walk to the train station. Trips ever hour to Milan and take approximately 15 minutes.

Great rooms, everything is new, get two twin beds put together, so basically a king size bed, Paid $58 euro, wanted to stay an extra night but one lady said she could only give me $80 euro, came back later and just told the receptionist I wanted to stay another night and he charged me $58 euro.

Spent $30 EURO on internet cafe in the hotel. .30 euro per minute, crazy! Good WIFI cafe near the termini station.
