Friendly desk clerk. The beds are the worst I have ever attempted to sleep in. We had 2 rooms for 4 adulds and 3 children none had a decent night. Would not recommend

A typical hotel of this category. We had a one night stay while traveling through. Our room was clean and sufficiently spacious. Bathroom was clean and of good size and amenities. Desk personnel were kind and helpful, and check in and out were effortless. Ample parking. Easy to find after a long drive. Room was quiet for sleeping. Breakfast is again typical and adequate for a quick start the next morning. So this Days Inn is a reasonable value for the price, well run and a good stopover in Fort Payne. Recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room.

Probably deserves 3.5 rather than 3, but there's no way to show that on this scale. It was fine, especially for those just staying one night and needing a rest during a long trip. Not the greatest or cleanest or fanciest motel in the world, but for the price you did not expect that, anyhow. The front desk people were very friendly. Did not check out the breakfast. Overall, a pretty good experience. It served our needs very well, for a modest price.

Room Tip: not able to supply any tips here.

Stayed at the Days Inn for one night on a long trip we were making. Found the front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Did not find the hotel room to be extremely clean though. The breakfast selection was slim also. The price was right although there were two of us and we were charged an extra $10 for the second person. Happens but I don't agree or like it.

For the money, this is a great place to stay. Always clean, comfortable rooms, which have been recently remodeled. Talk to Joanne at the front desk, she's as sweet and helpful as she can be!

I travel through this area often and have stayed at other low-end motels in Ft Payne and chose the Days Inn as I had not stayed there before. The room was low cost ($54 plus tax) and I was not expecting much. It was a non-smoking room and really did not have any signs of smoke or 'cover up spray' smell. All the bedding and towels were bright and clean, lighting was good to work or enjoy the TV. I had no noisy neighbors and I slept well. I intend to stop their again on my way home from New Orleans.
And there is a Cracker Barrel right nearby for a good breakfast to start the day.

This Days Inn appears to be in an old building. The lighting in the room was somewhat dim and the furniture was a bit scratched. Paint and wallpaper were both intact and everything appeared clean. Breakfast was poor - Danish, bagels, bananas or apples, and oatmeal or grits plus drinks. Nevertheless, the pet fee was only $10/night, there was a microfridge in the room, and they have exterior corridors - convenient when traveling with a pet.
