Stayed at the Days Inn for one night on a long trip we were making. Found the front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Did not find the hotel room to be extremely clean though. The breakfast selection was slim also. The price was right although there were two of us and we were charged an extra $10 for the second person. Happens but I don't agree or like it.

For the money, this is a great place to stay. Always clean, comfortable rooms, which have been recently remodeled. Talk to Joanne at the front desk, she's as sweet and helpful as she can be!

I travel through this area often and have stayed at other low-end motels in Ft Payne and chose the Days Inn as I had not stayed there before. The room was low cost ($54 plus tax) and I was not expecting much. It was a non-smoking room and really did not have any signs of smoke or 'cover up spray' smell. All the bedding and towels were bright and clean, lighting was good to work or enjoy the TV. I had no noisy neighbors and I slept well. I intend to stop their again on my way home from New Orleans.
And there is a Cracker Barrel right nearby for a good breakfast to start the day.

This Days Inn appears to be in an old building. The lighting in the room was somewhat dim and the furniture was a bit scratched. Paint and wallpaper were both intact and everything appeared clean. Breakfast was poor - Danish, bagels, bananas or apples, and oatmeal or grits plus drinks. Nevertheless, the pet fee was only $10/night, there was a microfridge in the room, and they have exterior corridors - convenient when traveling with a pet.

We ended up in Fort Payne after a long day of traveling intending to get a camping spot at Desoto State Park. Well, since no one answered their reservation number, we got there to find there were no spots available and storms rolling in. We were debating whether to find another park at that time of day, or just find a hotel to check into. Since we were across from several hotels, we called them all and ended up settling with the Days Inn. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful and got us all checked in quickly. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Just the spot to spend a stormy night! If we are ever in that area again and need a hotel, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed here overnight while we were visiting nearby. Not the nicest room, but acceptable for a night's stay. One of those motels that just is in need of updating. Location seemed okay, staff was nice. If I were in the area again, I would probably stay at one of the other local hotels though.

We stayed at the Fort Payne Days Inn two night in August 2005. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. The young lady on the evening desk was very pleasant and helpful. We were looking for real estate in the area and she took the time to direct us to a good agent and gave us a run down on the area.
I usually avoid Days Inns because many of them are not that good but this one is an exception. We found everyone in the area to be very friendly and helpul.
