We stopped by on Thanksgiving Day at lunchtime. There was one table occupied by a group of construction workers. The server told us that they were not offering a menu that day, only one meal. What I got was a large piece of perfectly prepared pork loin with a crunchy rind, rotkohl that was to die for, boiled potatoes and fresh corn. The meal and two lattes was ISK 2450 and it was as good, if not better, than meals we paid twice as much for in Reykjavik. Highly recommended! Cute place, kind of off the beaten path (at least in the wintertime). It was nice to find a spot where the locals eat.
