“Eyjafjallajökull & Thórsmörk”

Stefnir and Siggi provided our group with two extraordinary tour days filled with mountain hikes, canyon scrambling, waterfall visits, and glacier/ice cave exploration. Without SIA's Super Jeeps, these sights would have been completely inaccessible. Given a window of good weather, they took us over 2,500 ft / 900 meters vertical up Eyjafjallajökull. Stefnir and Siggi have a deep understanding of and passion for the local area. As owners of SIA, they are focused on providing the best customer experience. Great sense for matching tour agendas to customer needs while demonstrating the flexibility to roll with frequently changing weather. Pretrip communication with Siggi was extremely responsive and informative. Questions were encouraged and quickly answered. Can't recommend SIA highly enough. Consider them for the broad spectrum of pursuits from a leisurely days of sights to backcountry skiing and climbing.

“Tailored Tour with Exceptional Guides”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

SIA led seven of us on a few days of thoughtful, carefully tailored tours. The SIA team is clearly passionate about what they do. They are not just informative, but they cared about our own enjoyment. These guys are wonderful ambassadors for the developing tourism industry in Iceland. They understand their clients but also respect the places we visited.
If you are looking for something a little special with guides that get it, check out SIA.

“Exciting, phenomenal, astonishing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

We took two phenomenal day tours with Siggi and Stefnir. They are incredibly genuine, passionate and knowleddgeable about their country, and they took us to some astonishing places.

We drove almost to the top of the Volcano thru snow drifts in a 4x4 and then went hiking.
We went into the back country and saw glaciers, ice-caves, canyons and waterfalls waaaay off the beaten track.

It was a truly astonishing experience - if you are going to Iceland and you are looking for some off the beaten track advanture - these are the guys to go with.

“Grey Rabbit goes Superjeeping”

Fantastic day out for group of 9 of us with Siggi and Stefnir (aka The Viking) tailored to our group and the weather perfectly. They had so much local and geographical knowledge which they imparted in a friendly informal manner (frequently referenced to Tolkein!) whilst showing us wonderful sights and fording rivers etc. They went the extra mile to show us sunset views and help everyone individually to enjoy the day. Would definately recommend whole heartedly and hope to go out again with them some day.

“Super Jeep Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2013

We had one of the best days of our long lives with Siggi and Stefnir. They are passionate about iceland and are a joy to be with. We weren't able to get to where we wanted to go because of bad weather so they took us instead to 'Middle Earth' where Siggi has a mountain hut with nothing but snow in any direction as far as the eye can see and he cooked us the most delicious hot dogs. It was just a perfect day and we will definitely be going back for more. We can't recommend them highly enough and wish then well
