“Amazing”

We combined this with a visit to the blue lagoon booked through ISANGO. The ATV bit was first. We were provided with all the safety gear, and a good induction to using the ATV and as a complete novice this was a good all round safety and how to work the atvs induction. The guides made us feel very comfortable, and ensured we were all happy with the information provided (which was provided in a good standard of English). There was only 6 of us on the tour, and the guide was happy to answer any of our questions. The guide remained at a sensible speed and if anyone started to fall behind he would stop the group so that no one got left behind. Going up the glaciers was briliant fun, and even for a novice like me was good. It was snowing when we went, but with the safety suits on i didnt feel the cold. One of the people in our group got stuck in the snow going up the glacier, and we all had a good laugh about this, even the guide, and a few good photo opportunites as they were towing the ATV out of the snow. We had a stop half way around, and we all had a little chat and took in the views. The guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the things we were seeing on the way round. At the end of the ATVs the guide dropped us at the Blue Lagoon. This was a briliant adventure, i would definalty recommend it to anyone, even someone who has never been on an ATV before. Definatley not hard to control, even on the snow going up the glaciers. Definatly give it a go, combine with the Blue lagoon for a lovely day.

“Great Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2012

We found ourselves in the afternoon with nothing scheduled. All tours were gone for the day and our hotel clerk recommended we try this group. They are happy to schedule to suit you, so short or little notice wasn't a problem. Kjartan picked us up at the Blue Lagoon and took us to the shop where they gave us all the clothing we would need and helmets. We rode the quads through lava fields and up a hill to overlook the Blue Lagoon. Then back down to the peninsula where we saw a shipwreck that left us amazed. We only booked an hour but if we had known it was that much fun, we would have booked the three hour tour. They also have a 4 seater Polaris Razr if you would like to ride up the side of a volcano instead of drive. Great fun all the way around. I had never driven a quad before my husband was experienced and we both loved it. Thanks Kjartan and remember if you're ever in TN, look us up. :)

“ATV'ing up and around the mountainside was really fun. Would definitely recommend if you have time.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2012

Scheduled this for the last day of our 4 day vacation to iceland. What a fun way to end the trip. We went up and around the mountainside and through lots of muddy sink holes. We had a great time. Unfortunately, I left my phone in the chest pocket of the suit they provided because I was trying to make a video record but completely forgot about the phone from all the adrenaline rush when it was all over. I reached out to the company and they were able to locate the phone. Am just waiting to get it now in the mail. Great company and great fun. Would definitely recommend if can find the time to do this tour in iceland.

“Great way to really see the Icelandic landscape”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2012

We went on an Icelandair package that included the Super Jeep off-road tour and hour on ATVs. We were really pleased to see the interior, volcanic fields in a dynamic way, rather than just having them pointed out through the side of a tour bus. The Super Jeeps are American SUVs with gigantic tires; riding over snowy roads and steep hills felt like we were in a monster truck (fun!!!). The ATV was easy to learn and the guide, AJ, was very attentive--making sure we had help when stuck in snow and taking our picture at the top of a cliff overlooking the Blue Lagoon. We'd go back and do one of the longer ATV tours, but certainly recommend the company's Super Jeep-ATV package for first-time visitors. It was especially affordable with the Icelandair package.

“Wonderful ATV & 4X4 trip through the country side”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2011

We really enjoyed our outing. Jakob took my husband and me on a private tour of the valley between Reykjavik and Grindavik. He told us all about the valley farms, landscape, history. Then we got on our ATV's to ride up to the top of the mountains and down to the sea. We spent just the right amount of time on the ATV's to have a lot of fun and see the sites. It was great!! Then he drove us to some of the geothermal sites that Iceland is noted for. He was very knowledgable. You could tell he loves to tell tourist about his country, the land and its history. We had such a good time.
I had a lot of questions (via e-mail) about their offered tours, could we do additional things, or leave out sites we did not need to see, could we do a private tour vs the group tours. He and his employees always got back to me in a very timely manner. After many discussions on what I wanted and what they would offer, we struck up a deal that we were happy with. I absolutly highly recommend booking a tour with his company.
