“Great Day out for Combination Golden Circle/South Shore Tour”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

My husband and I had only 3 days in Iceland. We were booked to do an Oasis tour and Snaefellsnes on the first two days. We really couldn't decide whether to do the Golden Circle or South Shore tour on our last day so we were delighted when we found this combination tour. It makes for a long day, but it is WELL worth it. The tour begins with visits to the South Shore "attractions"/locations. There were regular breaks for snacks/restrooms. We loved the wonderful scenery along the way and all of the stops were great (so many outstanding waterfalls and each is terrific for a different reason). We were given ample time to explore each site. Our guide would provide the background information about each site and tips for getting the most out of our visits (including walking into a cave to find the pool at a the base of a beautiful waterfall that is visible at the top from the outside, but not the bottom- totally awesome!! We loved walking behind the waterfall at one stop and up to the top of a very tall waterfall on another. The visit to the glacier was awesome and we had lots of time to explore. We never felt rushed. We also visited the Black Sand beach and stopped to look at some historical homes of Iceland. After this we had lunch at a really cool converted barn- it was great. Following lunch, we headed up to the Golden Circle portion of the tour. We had ample time at both Gullfoss and the Geysir. We then headed to Pingvellir and had a great time walking around after the guide provided a great summary of the history of the area. We continued to be amazed how every single location we visited was as beautiful or more beautiful than the location before. As this was our last day in Iceland, we had asked if we could take our luggage with us during the tour. This was no problem. At the end of the tour, we were dropped at the Blue Lagoon. The guide kept our luggage for us and picked us up 2.5 hours later to deliver us to the airport (extra charge, but nice and easy). Our day with Volcano Tours was action packed. We learned a lot, laughed a lot and really felt so lucky to see all of the wonderful attractions. The tour lasted approximately 12 hours- so it was a marathon, but well-worth it. Clint, our guide, was helpful and informative. We would definitely recommend this tour if you are unable to do two separate tours because of time.

“Unforgettable day out, highly recommended tour”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

I took the "2 in 1" tour with Volcano Tours to The Golden Circle and the South Shore, as I didn't have that much time in Iceland and really didn't want to spend it on a coach full of people. Aiki was a great tour guide, we saw Eyjafjallajökull (we also saw Hekla on our way), several waterfalls, the impressive glacier in Sólheimajökull, the black sand beach, and all the "Golden Circle" sights. I highly recommend this tour although the cost is a bit high, it's worth it.

“Wonderful Day Out”
Reviewed April 5, 2014 via mobile

Fantastic day out with Volcano Tours , visited Eyjafjallajokull ( E15 ) glacier and volcano in off road jeep . We also visited the waterfalls at Seljalandsfoss. Fascinating day out to see the power of nature in the company of our excellent guide Clint ( not his real name but at least we could pronounce it ) A great day out and a must if you visit Iceland.

“Great service ”
Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

We decided to see the northern lights by jeep to be able to go off the beaten track that your buses are unable to reach and so get to the areas that were forecast to be cloud free. It was a good decision. Our guide was really helpful and full of knowledge . The lights we saw were not that bright to the naked eye but the camera photos were awesome. The suit provided were really warm and the hot chocolate yummy!

“WHAT AN EXPERIENCE”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

We did the Northern Lights jeep tour after doing a lot of research and looking into all different companies this was the best value and offered exactly what we wanted. We were lucky enough to see an amazing show of the Northern Lights and our guide Clint was fantastic. We had photos taken of us under the lights as our camera was unable to capture them. I would definitely recommend using these guys for a tour and can't wait to go back to Iceland again. Clint was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions and made the evening really enjoyable. This was the perfect way to view the lights rather than being on a big bus. They even offered to take us again the next night should we not see them which none of the other Jeeps offered but we were lucky to see them first night anyway.
