    The motel was lovely and clean - no complaints there -- however the fire alarm went off several times from 11 p.m. on through the night causing sleep interruption. I mentioned to the manager the next day that although the problem was no one's fault and unavoidable it would have been nice to have received a discount on the bill as a good will gesture. I was told they would be talking to the general manager and we have since received a call to assure us that the bill has been adjusted to 50% off. Thank you very much and we will continue to use Ramada Inns as we travel.

    Dear Mary,
    Once again, we sincerely apologize that the alarm did go off several times throughout the night. Unfortunately, someone tampered with a water line which in turn set off the fire alarm. It is a shame that this kind of incident has to happen and affect so many people. I can assure you that it is not a usual occurence.
    One of our main concerns is that our guests are satisfied with their stay and we are happy to hear that it has been resolved to your satisfaction. Thank you so much for taking time to post a review. We're happy to hear that you will continue to use the Ramada brand. We look forward to having you stay with us again.

    I was impressed with room. When I first saw the outside I was a bit disappointed but the room was very nice. Beds comfy. A bonus was that the room had a small fridge and microwave that we were not expecting. I like that there was an extra sink mirror outside of bathroom so it give extra space for personal grooming if someone is in the shower. Room was very clean, no dust bunnies. They offered a very nice breakfast. Better than the average continental brkfst.

    Thanks so much for posting your review of the Ramada Springfield North. We truly appreciate all of our guest's comments. The feedback is a very valuable tool in assisting us to provide the best service and accommodations possible.
    All of our guest rooms have a microwave and refrigerator, which is nice if you just want to relax in your room with one of the many microwavable dinners, pizza, etc. from our Mini Mart.
    It's amazing how many wonderful comments we get from guests who really appreciate the 2nd sink/mirror outside of the bathroom. It's a great feature when you have multiple people staying in the room trying to get ready in the morning at the same time.
    So glad you enjoyed our complimentary breakfast as well.
    Looking forward to having you as a guest in the future.

    My husband and I stayed here on our way to see family. The lobby was clean and check-in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and comfortable. It's nothing fancy, but it met our needs. We both had waffles for breakfast, which were fine. If we wouldn't have had our GPS, it would have been a bit hard to find from the highway, but we didn't have any problems.

    We had just had an amazing experience at a Drury Inn, so Ramada Springfield North had a lot to live up to.

    It held its own, for the most part.

    Pros: it may not look like much on the outside, but the inside was very clean, nicely decorated for the holidays, a warm fireplace to sit by. The rates were very reasonable. The continental breakfast was standard fare (though there was a noticeable lack of protein - no yogurt, no eggs, no sausage) and it was kept well-stocked. The rooms were comfortable - we would have preferred a few pillows that weren't so puffy, though. :D The shampoo and conditioner smelled great!

    Cons: a surprising lack of outlets for recharging phones/iPad/tablets. The only three I could find were behind the armchair, behind the nightstand (and both taken by the lamp and alarm clock), and over the "powder room" sink. A really low ceiling in the shower; anyone over 6'2" or so would probably have to be ducked down to use it. The acoustics in the pool area were so obnoxious that we had to keep an eye on the kids from the closed glass door - the noise of 5 kids was so amplified that we had splitting headaches within ten minutes. No adjoining room - I don't know if they don't have any in the hotel, but we were given rooms across the hall from each other. (It was a low travel volume time, so I don't think the problem was that all of the adjoining rooms were taken, but I could be mistaken.) Personally, I liked not having an adjoining room so that the boys + husband had their space and the girls + mom had ours - but that might not work for other families.

    Dear Exmish,
    It is nice to be able to relax by the fireplace and warm up with the colder weather approaching.
    We too love our Christmas decor and especially the tree. We loved it so much; we had it posted to our Facebook page, thanks for noticing.
    We recently changed our guest room amenities and have had many compliments on the sugared citrus from both men and women. Pleased to know that you also enjoyed it.
    We do have some adjoining guest rooms. Please inquire at the front desk upon check-in as to whether or not they are available. We will always do our best to meet our guest’s needs.
