The drinks and wine were overpriced. Someone on TA reccomended the potato crusted grouper. I was served a piece of flavorless fish with undercooked shredded hashbrowns on top. The worst part was the small amount of "lobster sauce" served under the fish looked and tasted exactly like the lobster bisque I had as an app. The prices don't match the ambience. I'm sure the place gets very loud when it is busy.

Good tasting food in downtown Springfield. We went on a Saturday night at 7:30pm and thought it would be crowded. Not so. It was almost empty. Downtown Springfield is pretty much deserted on the weekends we came to find out from the waiter.

Food was fresh and good tasting but a bit on the pricey side with dinner prices starting at $18 with most around $24-$26. Service was good. We choose to sit outside to enjoy the summer weather. Inside of restaurant was empty with only a few people. Everyone else was outside. Within walking distance to all the tourist sites and hotel.

Steak, Chicken. Pork, Elk- what the special is- it is goooood! Especially if it's covered in the raspberry merlot reduction sauce!!!!

A highly overrated (and overpriced) restaurant. Some of the food is excellent. I recommend trying it for lunch.

My husband and I just returned home to the St. Louis area from having a wonderful meal at Augies with my niece and her husband. They live in Springfield and eat here frequently.
I had a fantastic potato encrusted grouper and the fried cheesecake - it was all very delicious. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the lobster bisque - just a little too thin for my lking. But all in all it was well worth the money and we'll be back. Just glad I hadn't read the previous review about the mouse!!!
