“Enjoyable dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2013

The food was very good, as was the service. On Tues. they offer many wines at half price - a great deal. They have a nice wine list. For starters we chose two different salads - a beet and tomato salad, and a crispy goat cheese salad. Both were very good, but the shallot vinaigrette on the goat cheese salad had a hint of sweetness that I didn't care for. For entrees we chose the half duckling and the pasta of the day. The duckling was a huge hit. The daily pasta was a pipette pasta with seared scallops, peas, tomato, and a Cajun cream sauce. I expected the Cajun cream sauce to be a little spicier. The heat was very subtle, but it was good nonetheless. The one misstep was that my dinner companion's salad plate was cleared while I was still eating my salad. Service was perfectly paced.

Excellent restaurant, great steak and specials. I had the best frozen strawberry margarita ever. In fact I had a second for "dessert!"

We brought a group from Chicago and had the room downstair for our event. The staff was professional and courteous. Everyone had a very good meal and a great experience that evening.

Thanks

“Food is fantastic!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

The murals are a little fantastical, but don't let them deter you from eating here. Lucked out for a thrifty Thursday menu so had the trout and pork chop. GREAT! Husband ordered the scallops which were beautifully presented and NOT overdone. The thrifty dessert was mediocre, but the entree was memorable. Would come back for sure. Good beer, wine, whiskey/bourbon/scotch list too.

“Great Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

We were recommended this restaurant from our hotel and we were not disappointed. Yes, it was a little pricey, but definitely not outrageous. I had the salmon and it was amazing! My husband had the trout which was also good (just not as good as mine). It was not busy at all while we were there, must be off-season. At 5pm on a Friday night, we practically had the place to ourselves. I would go back.
