Evidently the exhaust fans weren’t working last night at Alexander’s. With 2-large open flame grills, you obliviously expect to smell the steaks cooking. But the smoke was overwhelming in the dining area. It was so bad that our eyes were watering and our clothes were saturated a “greasy campfire” odor.
On a positive note, the food and service was excellent. The salad bar is one of the best in Springfield…very fresh ingredients!
