Great location just across from the museum. Fantastic service and delicious food. We had tacos, everything was high quality. The mango salsa was awesome, and my boyfriend liked the homemade hot sauce. Homemade ice cream was perfect for dessert. Try this place, way better than the Subway in the museum.

A wonderful addition to the downtown and tourist area of Springfield! Unique menu, emphasizing locally grown produce. Great service and upbeat atmosphere! Will definitely be back and have encouraged friends to try.

La Calia was easy to find. Small, cozy eatery with great food. The tacos come as a meal or ala carte. The carnitas with mango salsa were delicious and the Roasted, Toasted Salad was great! The blue cheese dressing was much lighter than the usual heavy sort. The flavor - maybe a little citrus/minty taste to the dressing. Yum.
My DH had the Alaskan salmon on ciabatta - said it was really good.
Will stop again when in Springfield.

Had a fantastic mushroom sandwich and black bean soup. Leia makes her own awesome ice cream very unique flavors.
But u must try her chili pot dessert.

I stumbled across this place whilst looking for places to eat in the Springfield area and what a gem that it was! I thought that I had better share my feedback as the positivity about this restaurant was what encouraged me to go take a look.

We went for dinner and found a high quality menu consisting of 5 different meals, all of which were made from fresh, local produce! The waitress Ana provided a very friendly service from the moment that we arrived until we eventually left!

This place is not to be missed and is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
