“Great handicapped facilities!”

Unfortunately we only stayed one night! There was a lift for the hot tub, a spacious handicapped room and a fabulous breakfast. The only complaint we had was that the bed was too high for someone making a transfer from a wheelchair. A platform bed would have been better.

Front desk staff was outstanding! This hotel breakfast is probably one of the best "included" ones I've ever had. The breakfast room staff was friendly and particular about the taste and service of their breakfast! Our room was very clean, fresh and inviting! This will be our hotel of choice for our frequent trips to Springfield! Hats off to the hotel staff here at the Residence inn!

This was a very nice stop en route to St. Louis. The hotel appears to be the nicest Springfield has to offer. There weren't any high-end lodging options in the area, but quite a few nicer mid-range properties. This Marriott was absolutely fabulous and even felt a touch luxurious. CLEANLINESS seemed a top priority. Not a blemish anywhere. Smelled great also! Loved the large bathroom area. The housekeeping crew deserves to be noticed for such a fine job. We could definitely tell they cared about keeping this hotel looking sparkling new. We only stayed for a single night but could have stayed the entire week had we not had reservations at The Hyatt St. Louis. Bed was comfy and we loved the feel of the ruffled top sheet. Great sleeping. Would most definitely stay again if in the area.
Travel tip: Scheels is a FANTASTIC store in the area if you have athletic teenagers! It is like an oversized Dick's Sporting Goods with an amusement ride and fudge shop inside. Best store we have ever encountered on a vacation. We might actually come back just for a weekend of shopping.

We just checked in and started our stay. We are amazed by the friendliness of the staff here. They are friendly and personable. Warren checked us in and he made sure we had everything we need.

I did alot of investigating and preparing before we decided to stay at this property. I didn't book it because of its proximity to my destination which was the beautiful Kerasotes YMCA swim pool on the other side of town. I booked it because everyone said this Hotel was flawless in its execution and it was, from its front desk staff, complimentary meals, cleanliness, pool area, reasonably priced snacks, speedy elevators or quiet rooms. It is a large Hotel so if you need a room close to an elevator you better let them know. The nice thing was they helped our busy family carry out breakfast when our time was short. 5 stars, but somebody tell corporate to ad more hooks, cup holders and some straps to pile all of our stuff from our car to the room on the luggage cart. Good looking cart-I just dont have 6 arms to hold everything on there by myself.

I've never stayed at a Residence Inn before. I will certainly look for them in the future. The rooms are suites and they don't skimp on the size of the bathroom either. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, although the mattress could have been a bit firmer for me. A nice assortment of snacks and wine are served in the lobby beginning at 6pm while the manager does artwork. The staff is friendly and helpful. Three minor annoyances - Internet speed seemed slow at times, it's not evident where the main entrance is, and the light outside my fourth floor room streamed in through the sides of one set of room darkening shades. It was quiet, however. I would stay there again.

We apologize also for the light that has shown into your room. These are safety lights and because of this, they remain li all night. Might I suggest that upon your next arrival, request a room that would not be near the security light, as we would be more than happy to accommodate you. We constantly strive for good customer service in making our guests comfortable. I would like to say that Shelton and Tammy work hard at making a safe environment. Making sure the sidewalks are clear of snow - and place deice to prevent trip and falls. I have even seen them remove snow guest auto's before some business traveler are heading out to warm up their cars. Along with helping guest if their car needs a jump. Last week my wife needed help in putting something together and they were more able to help. They show strong attention to guest and thier satisfaction. When you stay here you will notice the attention to details.
