“Best Wright house we've found”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

The Dana House is by far the largest and most perfectly preserved Wright house I've ever seen. The story behind it is fascinating, and the interiors are jaw-dropping. If you're a Wright fan, you must not miss it.

“A Springfield Treasure Beyond Lincoln's Lifetime”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

This Frank Lloyd Wright-designed complex is a surprising architectural focal point in an otherwise unremarkable Springfield neighborhood. But until you've toured the inside, you cannot fully appreciate this amazing place. I recommend you set aside 90 minutes in your busy Lincoln site touring schedule to catch the next guided tour. Adults and kids will all be fascinated by the many unusual design features of the living spaces. It will be as memorable a visit as any of Springfield's more popular attractions.

“The Best of Frank Lloyd Wright's Work”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

What an extraordinary surprise in Springfield, IL. First of all who was Susan Lawrence Dana? How was she able to commission Frank Lloyd Wright to build this amazing 35 room mansion with more than 100 pieces of Wright's furniture, 250 of his leaded glass windows and doors and over 100 art glass fixtures. It's a "must see" in Springfield, IL. Plus there are some spooky stories of ghosts and spirits that still live in this beautiful and amazing home.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

If you like architecture you MUST stop by this gem of a Frank Lloyd Wright house in Springfiled. Its the largest FLW house and well worth the time (1 - 1-1/2 hrs) to tour.
Beautiful space, furnishings and incredible that this was designed and built over a hundred years ago

Been to Talliesin west and spring green. The Dana house is my favorite so far. The guide was very informative and helpful. And the house of course was great.
