“Great exhibit”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

Loved the exhibit and the theater presentation. There was a school group going through at the same time, but the exhibits didn't seem crowded. We were able to spend as much or as little time in each area as we desired. The adjacent train station was our only disappointment and not worth the extra admission. It is small and crowded.

“Very Interesting”
Reviewed March 16, 2014 via mobile

We loved The Lincoln Museum. My family all went, two teens and my 5 yr old...this museum kept all their interest. Well put together loved being able to see his life as a child and to his life in the White House! We also went across the road to the Lincoln Movie exhibit where we saw the furniture from the movie and a short clip of a scene in the movie:)

“Very Ineteresting but it falls short of its potential.”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

A very new museum, all the latest technology used to provide a fairly high level overview of life and presidency of Abe Lincoln. The holographic videos are well done, but too general in nature and too short. It is great for a superficial view of Lincoln. It's hard to provide a good in depth look to modern Americans who don't really know their own history. I wish it had been deeper and said more, there should be an "overview" track, and a "deep in history" track for visitors who already have a fair knowledge of Lincoln and the Civil War.
Be aware that there is a strong restriction on photos and video! In the central rotunda you may take pictures, every where else it is prohibited, and there are employees of the museum monitoring the guests everywhere so don't even think about video or still photography.
Was it worth the $7 per person (military discount) to visit? Yes! But there could have been so much more that just was not presented.

“An Amazing Informational Tribute to President Lincoln”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

If you want to see some of the best information most up-to-date information specifically related to the greatest of all American Presidents, you must visit the Lincoln Presidential Museum. This spectacular museum utilizes technology to give its visitors a very in-depth multi-sensory experience from holograms, to exact replica rooms and many original items that President Lincoln wrote, used and displayed during his campaign for president and time in the White House. Be prepared to spend at least two to three hours of reading and exploring through the museum. It is not a shoulder to shoulder discovery process. You are able to enjoy the museum at your own pace which is a very nice relaxed aspect. There are many downtown restaurants that will be able to serve you wonderful food while visiting before or after lunch.
