“Imagination or a good tour guide needed”
Reviewed May 12, 2014

While it's fascinating to stand in the same spot Abe did, there's not a lot here that's still original.

I was without a guide, so I wandered through and it was quite unremarkable.

“A Must See”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

Building where Lincoln practiced law. Statue of his family outside on the grounds. While it was closed when we arrived, we were still able to learn a few things and get some great shots.

“Worth a visit ”
Reviewed April 8, 2014 via mobile

If you are visiting the Lincoln sites in Springfield, I would put this on the list. It's a short walk to several other sites, and it only takes a few minutes to get a glimpse of a big part of Lincoln's life. Our guide was very good, and he even took the time to give us information about other sites.

“Perfect little tour”
Reviewed March 26, 2014 via mobile

Short 15-30 min tour. The space and the words from the guide make the tour. The exhibits are nothing special. However I highly recommend if you want to see one of the few remaining buildings where Lincoln worked. Also, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic!

“Great tour guide, but not a lot to see”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

It's worth seeing for sure. Just don't expect to spend much time at this site, as there are only a couple of rooms to see. Our docent was very friendly and knowledgeable, however. She shared some fun and interesting historical tidbits. She did mention that this site is to be expanded in the near future.
