Thankfully we were able to dine outside because it was impossibly loud inside the restaurant. Our group of four all had salads and rated them very good.

We were sent here by hotel desk staff, and it did not disappoint!! The nachos were great and huge, the burgers were excellent and my wife tried fish and liked it a lot. We would go here regularly if we lived in Springfield!!

On our recent vacation to Springfield, my husband and I were pleased to discover The Brickhouse as a great, locally-owned pub/grill in the downtown area. The downtown storefront is a perfect setting for this establishment, with exposed brick and tall ceilings. We sat at the bar, but there are many high top tables and long, almost communal, bench seating. There are many TVs mounted throughout the restaurant, allowing for easy viewing of several games. The televisions are muted, and we were impressed with the music on the playlist all night during our visit. There was a very pleasant vibe in the place.

The bartender was really on top of it with her service and we were shocked at how quickly food came out of the kitchen. There are lots of beers on tap and in bottle, as well as a full bar. My husband was happy to see Woodchuck on tap. The pulled pork nachos were good, generous with large chunks of pork; the cheese sauce was tasty, but eat quickly as the chips are prone to get soggy in the sauce. The pizza was tasty; hot and fresh.

The Brickhouse was just what we were looking for. A nice place to watch the game with good beer and a broad menu. Recommended for a casual night out downtown. Support a local business!

Ended up at Brickhouse with a small group, since the other bar we were at didn't serve food. Sandwiches and salads are good here (although one person in the group had a *vegetarian* horseshoe, which I consider an abomination). Decent beer selection, including local brews.

A friend and I were meeting for lunch downtown on a Sunday. This was the only restaurant we found to be open. The food and the service were both good. However it was a football Sunday and the rest of the customer were very animated fans.
