Very good zoo with many animals all easily accessed from the walking paths. They have a small penguin display where it is fun to watch the antics of the animals. Fairly priced and is near a park for playing and picnicking before or after.

Nice place to take the grandchildren for a mini trip close to home visit ther animalsat the zoo. Special activity days are really great to attend.
Clean and well kept location. NIce to take a lunch and eat at one of the nearby lake parks which also have playground equipment.

This was a great visit for my little 2 year old daughter. Since the zoo is so small it was easy to keep an eye on our little one and the animals are few so it only takes 30 to 60 minutes to walk the entire park. There is a little train that my daughter loved riding on so I recommend that.

Fairly cheap cost, but just know you get what you are paying for...there aren't very many species here.

This zoo was not impressive at all. I think the most exotic animal I saw was a monkey. There was only one other person visiting the zoo while we were there which made life easier with a 15 month old. But now I understand why they cannot get funding for more exotic animals. Many enclosures were empty or not open. Overall, completely disappointed.

This zoo isn't very big but it has some unusual animals in it. The admission is $5 for adults and $3.25 for children. For such a small zoo they are very active. Watch their website or their Facebook page to see all the exciting activities they have such as camping out in the zoo, Safari Sundays or zoo after dark. They really work hard to bring you into the zoo and help you enjoy your time.

Tip: They have a small train that makes two loops around the inside part of the zoo. It is kind of pricy for what you get. If you can skip it, I would but if you can't I would just send the kids it they are old enough to ride on their own.
