La Fiesta is one of the best Mexican places in town. The decor is a little over the top and stereotypical, but the staff is friendly. Getting food is fast, but sometimes refills on chips and drinks are forgotten. Prices are good and portions are ample.

On Mondays, kids eat free, and that's always welcomed when you have a little one and he/she doesn't eat enough to justify the cost. They do have mariachi bands on occasion, and that can be deafening if they happen to be in your area and you just want a quiet dinner. TVs are visible if you're into sports.

It's definitely worth a visit.

Good Mexican Restaurant but they have
always padded the bill when pricing out the ticket by always rounding up on the meals to 99 cents. The two entrees we had tonight were menu priced at $7.25 and $8.50. Both were rounded up. Most people don't notice so they continue to do it and really just get by with it. Funny thing is they don't realize that when its spotted most just subtract it from the tip. So many of us locals are aware of it going on so its a game.

We picked La Fiesta based on Springfield Il Vistors guide. It is on the Southeast side of town. We had a wonderful dinner. Very frensh and authentic. The kids loved it and cost was very good.

We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Francisco was very attentive to our needs. The lunch portions are perfect, satisfying, but not over filling. I Definately want to come back when they have the mariachi band.

We were in town for a competition and needed a restaurant who could serve a large group in a timely manner. We found it at La Fiesta. We had dinner here for a group of 60 people and they were amazing. The staff immediately took our drink orders, kept the chips and salsa coming throughout dinner and served us our meals quickly. In fact, we were in and out of there in 90 minutes! We couldn't have been happier with their service, food, and attention. Everyone in our group (including 20 teenagers) raved about this place. I highly recommend.
