We stayed in Diamond Spa, Sivota from 22nd. Of September until 29th. of September.

If you had any issues with ankles, knees or hips generally then you reserve a room/have a confirmation close to the pool-/reception area.

From our room to restaurant etc. we have 93 steps to the pool-/reception area. In case you want to go to town the road is actually very steep – you have the option to go by taxi at 5€ each way.

I noticed some comments about the buffet/food and generally I wouldn’t expect to have canned vegetables i.e. carrots and pees and (soft) chips and fries based on frozen potatoes in a 5-star hotel.

Meat was from time to time overdone – but must, of course, match the taste of all guests.

Reasonable to say that the buffets with appetizer/salads and dessert were good (at least to us)

We booked a bungalow with own swimming pool and were slightly surprise that we were accommodated in a normal double room and a two-story twin house.

Seems bungalow has another meaning Greece than here, or my travelling experiences aren’t sufficient. There is no single building for only one family in the hotel.

Apart from that we enjoyed the exceptional views and the generally friendly and accommodating staff.

First of all, I really liked this place. It's centrally located, though the hills are steep to get there. The views from the site are breathtaking, and our room was amazing. We had a private bungalow with a private pool. You will have neighbours, so it's not totally private, but almost.

So here are some pros and cons:

Pros:

* Amazing views, as I said.
* House cleaning every day, polite housemaides, though their english is very bad. They did not understand "come back in half an hour", so we settled on no cleaning that day.
* Our room was clean and modern, with comfortable beds, flat screen, air conditioning and a bath tub in the bathroom.
* Frigde with small freezer.
* Bathrobes and an assortment of soaps and creames.
* The food at the buffét was all right, liked most of it.
* They make some of the food on site, like eggs and pancakes. And probably more.
* With all inclusive, you have the option to trade your buffét for a basket, that you can take with you. We opted for the lunch basket, and got sandwiches, fruit and water for our day out.
* We had daquires at the bar which were very tasty.
* Bar, reception and buffét staff very nice and professional. They clean up after you almost before you're done.

Cons:

* Wi-Fi is useless. Literally. Also, mobile data is very bad. We could barely get a signal.
* A lot of the same food at the buffét, with a few alterations.
* A lot of the food at the buffét is pre made. (but still good).
* A lot of steps from the downhill rooms and up to the buffét and reception.
* Very steep hill from the town centre and up. We took taxies to get up there.
* We only tasted one of the drink of the day, which was included in our package. It's a very small glass of a very basic drink. Did not make plans to get one on any other day.

All in all, we would recommend this place, of you go for the bungalows. We have no idea how the other rooms are.

The view and the food at the à la carte restaurant "The view" was excellent. You must most certainly try the salmon! Never tasted it as good as this. And the rice dumplings. The service was very good.

We had stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was very nice. We had an amazing view from our room. Rooms are large and clean. The only problem about air condition. The location of air-condition was not nice. It’s directly coming to the bed.
Breakfast is good as well. The important thing is the hotel has private parking area.

Breakfast very average. WiFi diabolical. Onsite car park very limited and because the hotel is on the top of a hill dangerous steep paths both for cars and people. Air-conditioning in rooms very noisy and in public area there was only a/c in reception. The Bar had no a/c but fans on the balcony. Price was very expensive for what it was.
