More of a home rather than an hotel. We stayed at this delightful hotel for two weeks at the end of August 2008,travelling with Sunville Holidays. The rooms were light and airey and spotlessly cleaned each day. Owners and staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was quiet and well maintained, pool bar not used. The owners support animal charity and have several cats. These were never a nuisance and provided much entertainment at breakfast on the patios. Breakfasts were basic but sufficient.
Situated in the back lanes of Sivota you need to be fully mobile to negotiate the hill up to the hotel from the village centre and a torch is a must. It's about a 20 minute walk to the sea front.
Sivota itself is a lovely quiet resort with sufficient restaurants and coffee bars. We spent many a lazy hour sipping coffee watching the yachts come and go in the harbour. Hire a car and the Albanian border is within easy reach with breathtaking scenery. Also visit the many monastries that balance on the mountain sides. Our particular favourite was at the mountain village of Gyromeri.Don't miss visiting Acheron Springs, a beautiful gorge with a rushing river. The town beach is fairly limited but there are sandy beaches to be had in the coves of the offshore islands and further down the coast towards Parga.
A lovely little hotel in a lovely little resort.
