A nice clean, well positioned small and friendly hotel. Breakfast was more than enough with a choice of hot 'English' fry-up or various continental selections. The Greek yogurt was exceptional with fresh Water Melon. Pool bar serving Draft beer in frozen glasses a nice touch. Sunbathing was made easy with plenty of sunbeds to relax on. Our room was quite large as was the bed, I am sure it was bigger than King size, with all the facilities you need, pool towels provided too. Cleaning done every day to a high standard in the room. Loads of little cats about the outdoor areas, don't worry about them they are very cute. Excellent value so would consider going back. Sissi is a lovely quiet little town with plenty of restaurants, just a 10 minute walk to the centre. Overall I would recommend it if you like the quiet life as we do.

Room Tip: Deluxe is all we saw and I haven't scored the Spa because we didn't use it.

We had a week here at end of September. The breakfast was of a good standard and what you would expect. We were upgraded to a deluxe room from an apartment and were happy with the room although there was a poor balcony view. The hotel is spotlessly clean. We had no problem getting a sunbed at any time and the serene poolside atmosphere led to a lovely relaxing holiday. The location helps with this, being on a quiet road yet only a few minutes from the centre of Sissi.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel have no view, as the balconies overlook the walkway at the back o...

We had a week in September in this quiet hotel and found it to be very clean, modern and quiet. The staff were very helpful and the room was cleaned every day. We found the food better than expected with typical Greek fare which was freshly cooked, different every day and offered plenty of choice. Excellent value for what we paid. Not five star but we didn't expect that. Nice quiet resort at this time of year and the weather was mostly good with a couple of cloudy days on which we did some touring in the car. Plenty of choice of eating/drinking in Sissi. Nice beach 10 minutes walk away with a snack bar - bring some swimming shoes for the rocky shore though. Snorkelling not bad - saw an octopus.
Giving this 5 stars for the value for money.

Room Tip: Deluxe in main building

We have just returned from 2 weeks in the "standard" accomodation, which is the older part across the (mainly quiet) road. It was more basic than the luxury suites in the main hotel, but still had small tv, free aircon ( a real bon) and free safe. The room (404) was spacious, comfy king-size bed, small balcony overlooking pretty gardens with palm trees, burganvillea and roses. We could use all the main hotel's facilties, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We are cat lovers so we adored the tabbies who live in the grounds! - if you don't like cats though you may not be so keen. The staff were friendly and the cleaners kept the room spotless (towels and sheets changed very 2 days). We would definitely go back to this hotel.

Sissi itself was great, a good choice of eateries, pretty setting, and decent beaches nearby. We hired a car for a week and toured eastern Crete. We recommend a trip to Elounda and Spinalonga, plus the nearbt Malia Minoan palace (this has a great wee cafe, homemade cakes on offer).

We have just got back from our week stay in Angela Suites Boutique Hotel. I had booked a 'delux room with garden/pool view' and actually got a separate room across the road that was far from delux and on the roadside!? I complained right away and was told the hotel was fully booked but they would look into moving us. We were moved after spending three nights in the room. I got the impression that staff were use to guest complaining about this room.
I agree with all other comments; the staff were pleasant but not really enthusiastic, the rooms and the pool were clean.
The pool side beds were probably the most uncomfortable I have ever lay on...which defeats the object of enjoying the lovely pool and bar area

Room Tip: Ensure you contact the Hotel and ask to be in the main block

We just returned from
This hotel the food isn't good. Very basic and the staff don't really try to make changes . They are friendly but no more will be done then the very minimum .

It's no way 5 diamond- star hotel is say its a good 3 star hotel.

We stayed here in July, travelling as a family with a 15 year old. The hotel was very clean and modern, the staff were polite and helpful when asked. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice view over the gardens and small pool area. We didn't think it was a suitable place for young families with toddlers and babies, as it isn't big enough to cater for them and the adults who wanted some peace and quiet around the pool and in the dining room.
The breakfasts were good, the evening meals were ok, there was always something you could eat.
We chose half board because it wasn't much dearer than just b & b, so we had the choice to eat in or out. Loved the cat and kittens that live wild in the gardens. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel and Sissi for a quiet holiday on Crete-but not in the school hols!

Room Tip: Not one over looking the main pool.
