We had a fantastic stay at the Castello village resort. The hotel offered great food and drink, clean and modern rooms, a great location and great facilities. The best thing about this hotel is the staff that work there, Yannis, Kostos, Sevi, Ervis and "Chef" made our stay unforgettable with their unrivalled hospitality, by the time our holiday came to an end they felt like friends and we didn't want to leave. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and we will definitely be back!

Excellent resort. For relaxed chilled out holiday. Food very good. Rooms very good cleaned every day spotless. Giannis at the main pool bar is brilliant. Kostas and Sevi at the restaurant and bar very polite accommodating people. All in all very good hotel with very friendly polite staff. Would highly recommend for a chilled relaxing holiday.

Just back from 2weeks at the Castello. Faaaaaantastic. Got to know nearly all the staff by first names. They really care about you and your holiday. The village is just right size and amazing countryside around. Went to Malia for a day so glad to come back to Sissi.

There are two pools a small one one on lower level by beach is quieter. Only criticism is that one could do with a little too but am sure it will be done by full season.

The Cretan night laid on by the hotel once a week is amazing and the staff join in quite naturally it's not staged.

Supermarket Socrates opposite hotel offers great value. Ask for Iddri he is very friendly and helpful

Room tip: Try to get rooms in the main village type setting of the hotel

+ The staff was really nice and polite.
Good location in Sissi, close to everything.
The cleaning of the room was really good, it felt fresh for the week we stayed.
The structure of the hotel itself made it feel cozy and not that big.

- We booked and paid for a garden wiew and got no such thing. When we confronted the reception about it, it wasn't possible to change room.
The staff in the reception was really bad at informing us about stuff, as when info about our pick up time to the airport had arrived. Or that we needed to bring our own towels when we were to borrow a room for showering after check out. All small things that end up in one big pile.
The breakfast felt really greasy, not at all as fresh as you imagen the Greek kitchen.

Beautifully located next to the ocean. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room kept very clean with all that you could need ! Had room with sea view but on ground floor, so.... facing North so you could sit outside yor room for ever and you would not get the sun (hey ho!)
Good choice for breakfast so no real complaints.... Good job!!
Would recommend hiring a car as once you've seen Sisi that's it ! But be warned.. car hire expensive an petrol crazy expensive !!
